Bought it, love it

I may be biased because my last car was an Altima with 172K miles on it, but this car has been great so far and the price is right. I've had it for just a month but it still drives like I just took it off the lot. The MPG is accurate as long as you use the Econ button and don't accelerate too quickly-easy to do with the display and MPG calculator. Very impressed so far!!

Near excellent

Pros: smooth, comfortable, big interior. I test drove a new Camry, passat, Altima, g37, and sonata. This one was smoother than all, more comfortable and quicker (except the g37). I own a 14' Q50 as well and the accord seats are more comfy. Cons: no push start. No dual exhaust (unless sport or superior package). To me it seemed there is a flaw design between the gear shift and the front console, there is a compartment in front of the gear shift that is not easily accessible. It something to live with because it is a great car, but to me at least, bothersome at times. I didn't realize it till we drove it a few weeks, since it's not something you would be interacting with unless you has the car for at least a few days and notice the inconvenience.

From a 98 model to a 2014

Over the years Honda has had many different body styles but this year the Sport caught my eye. So I took a trip 45 minutes to the nearest dealership and found exactly what I was looking for. Only to be amazed at how sporty this sedan really was! Then the interior being laid out to make it very roomy. The seats aren't leather which I didn't want anyways, but there is leather where it's needed like on the armrest. That console wore out I my first car cause the way I sat while driving. On to the amazement of the technology features put in this car. The Bluetooth option or plugging your mobile device straight in to the car. The text message option, that I haven't completely figured out yet. The variable speed transmission, you never feel it shift, great feeling. And when you need power to pass, it's got it with 189 HP, 4cyl engine. It's roomy enough for a 6'2" person in the back or a couple car seats. And my 5 yr old climbs right in with no help from us. That's makes it easier on the parents!

Honda Reliability

I chose this accord because I was looking for a reliable vehicle and I liked all the toys that came with my purchase. I was happy to see that Honda got smart when they took into account what buyers want in state of the art amenties as an example : lane watch, front end detection alarm, mirror directional lights, LED head lights, etc etc. Plus good looks overall.

Most Pleased

I traded my 2007 Accord for the base model 2014 Accord. I didn't think there would be much difference between the two cars, but I was pleasantly surprised. The 2014 model is very quiet. So quiet and so peppy that you'd think there was a V-6 in there. The base model (LX) has a lot of features I didn't expect like back up camera, dashboard information center, bluetooth, and luxurious styling. Only thing I wish the Accord still had is the coin box. Great car!

Great Choice

At first I was thinking that I'd have a problem adjusting from a V-6 to a 4 cylinder. I must say that with the Accord the transition has been smooth! The response time is great! I love the features the car offers and the best part about the features is they're standard. This makes the car a great value. You can tell by driving the Accord that safety was top of mind. Honda has made hands free driving easy, the USB and Bluetooth connections are convenient and make the driving experience pleasant. The back-up along with the blind spot cameras help to make driving the Accord very safe.

nice but needs a few tweeks

The accord looks great, drives nice. The touring model's adaptive cruise control made me believe that cars would be able to drive themselves soon. The following distance is so great that other drivers jump in between and cause the automatic breaking to take over. I shortened the distance to short, but that ends up with a three second following distance. I usually drive giving about two seconds so three seems excessive. All that's needed is automatic lane corrections, and the driver (me) becomes obsolete.

Honda is the most reliable car I have owned.

I bought a 1996 Honda Civic in 1997 and drove it until trade in on new preowned 2012 Honda Accord bought 12/27/2014. The Honda Accord is an upgrade from the Honda Civic, but both are great cars. I am 72 years old, my first car was a Ford 1950 model bought in 1957. Since then I have owned about 10 different makes but by far Honda has been the best car I have owned. Quality and reliability are the best words to describe Honda. * Beware of dealers offering all kinds of contracts/services during the purchase. Find out about these offer before hand to have more time to decide if you really need them or want them. I purchased the Honda extended warranty good until 2019 or 100,000 miles (mileage now 12,000). Cars.com and CarsGuru where very helpful searching. Good Luck Shopping.
