2014 Honda Accord consumer reviews

I purchased the 2014 Accord Touring out of State where I got an excellent deal. Picked up on a Friday afternoon and on early Saturday took off to Miami a slightly over a 1k mile run with very little stops, early morning breakfast roughly 1 hour and late afternoon dinner 1 1/2 hours to a total of 14 1/2 hours. Had a chance to really appreciate the long distance comfort, handling and speed of the Touring. Impressed by the mileage at average speeds of around 80 mph. Week latter oil is still clean, absolutely no issues, everything works fine and I mean everything! Only complaint is an almost imperceptible speck of dust on the inside of the GPS screen and 18" wheels would have made a 5 on exterior looks.

If you want to spend under $30K for a new car that has all the goodies other manufacturers promise for next year, this is the car. Quiet, with sufficient power and so far no glitch. Mechanically nicely designed and overall operation smooth and silky. Very comfortable inside with great seats. Overall, the Nav system and instrumentation panel work seamlessly, the only complain being that speedometer panel is designed clumsily with warning lights all over, some of which is hard to read (because of steering obstruction) and too scattered. There should be an easy fix and better design for this. But putting this minor complain aside, this car is a joy to drive and ride on.

"The driver seat is very uncomfortable. Once you are in the seat there is no wiggle room and your back get hot. I am 5'9" 160 pounds. I also found the shape of seat make your back bend forward and long distance driving a real PAIN. My Honda dealer changed the seat back which made it more comfortable but I still get HOT spots on my back from rubbing on the leather seat."

Wonderful Drive and with the 6 cylinder engine I have more than enough power to get on the highway, etc. The seats are very comfortable and the car styling is sporty for a Honda Accord. Takes a little bit of time to learn how to set up and use all of the touch screen features, but the cameras and other safety features are great!

I have been in denile for a long time. I was driving my thirteen year old car on borrowed time. I wasn't quite sure which direction I wanted to take...a good used car with low miles or a brand new car. I wasn't even sure I wanted a Honda. Early one morning, before opening hours, I drove onto the Capital Blvd Honda lot just to look...peacefully. Marvin Camper was at work early this day, spotted me and headed my way. He had a very pressure-free approach, which I appreciated. He answered what few questions I had, provided me with as much information as he could considering my time constraint...then I left. I looked around at other cars, but kept circling back to the Honda. I could have gone to any Honda dealer, but Marvin's calm demeanor, professionalism and knowledge compelled me to come back to Leith Honda. Working with Marvin was seamless and worthwhile. Again, his no hassel approach is what made me trust that I was in good hands. After selecting my brand new Honda Accord EXL two weeks after first meeting Marvin, I sat down with Marvin and Danny to seal the deal. Danny's upbeat and light-hearted attitude made me feel like I was signing the winning lottery ticket instead of purchase and sales agreements. In fact, everyone I encountered at Leith Honda went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and special. But honestly, it was Marvin's flawless guidance throughout the entire process that won me over, and turned me into a prould Honda owner. Thank you Marvin for everything!

Everything I liked about my older 06 Accord and more. Engine is more powerful handling is super, new steering is electric and very responsive and the alerts like lane and front crash and cam work great. The phone hookups take a bit more time, had to upgrade my iPhone (3g) to talk to the car, but my wife's 3gs worked fine. The difference between my old (only had 22090 at tradein) is mostly one of sophistication in interior and exterior design and better execution. I did get nav this time and it is much better than the garmin and maps programs I was using before. Well worth it in my opinion. Most everything in this car can be reprogrammed to suit preferences or many options can be turned off. The car is so efficient without the econ button pressed that I leave it off. I do like lane change and collision warnings and you can adjust or turn off if you like. In sum, glad I bought another Accord.

It rides lake a steel tired road wagon on cobblestone road and way too much road noise. the workman ship is good the passenger seat will not adjust up and a 5 ft. person can not enjoy the views. is their any way I can get help with this problem/
