My Review for my 2015 Honda Accord V6/Navigation

I'm a 27 year old man with a large upper body (260 pounds, 5.10, wide frame) and I drove a 2009 4 door civic till this year when I decided it was time for an upgrade, or so I thought. Like most civic owners, buying an accord v6 feels like your entering the big leagues of Honda, and I was so happy when I got a slammin deal for my 2015 V6 accord. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I notice I'm starting to get back aches in my lower back. At first I ignored it and blocked out any idea that it was the car, but I came to the realization it is my new car. The leather seats have 0 give. They're way to firm, and it feels like your sitting on hard wood. No matter what adjustments you make to the seat, including the so called lumbar support which honestly feels like someone is pushing you forward, roughly, and not supportive like, your back will be telling you it hurts eventually. I have read many reviews about the accord seats after I started getting back pains and I'm not the only one with this issue. On top of the horrible back support and lumbar support, the seat feels like it was designed for primarily "small" people. My upper back has no support since the "bucket" style seats have side cushions that feel like they're pushing my arms and sides forward, not allowing me to actually relax my back whilst diving. The entire car outside the drivers seat is beyond my expectations, considering Honda is not a luxury brand, but how can I enjoy my fabulous monster of a car when I can't sit in it comfortably? I'll be switching to Acura when my lease is up. I know new cars need time for the seats to start softening up but it's annoying that a lower class car, the Civic, which is primarily a simple commuters car meant to provide the basics depending on the model you buy, is a better driving experience than the Accord, which is supposed to be Hondas top of the line Sedan. Next time, no leather seats. Gimmick nonsense. I still love my car though. It's super fast lol.

Honda Accord

My love with Honda started over 15 years ago. After spending as little as possible on cars from various car companies I had my sights set on what I thought was the 'best car out there': a Honda Accord. I finally purchased one, and have been happy ever since. The car went everywhere, and we finally sold it with 240K miles after buying a new Accord. The new car is not flawless. There's some road noise as if one of the windows is left open just a bit, the phone Bluetooth integration software needs to be upgraded, but besides that, you have an awesome car. It is quick in traffic, the engine roars confidently, has great looks, comfortable inside, very safe with airbags everywhere, it feels heavy and has excellent grip on the road. In winter the traction control keeps you on the road no matter what. Gas mileage is excellent, especially when staying within the speed limits. Of course this car is not for everyone. But if you are frugal, want something that holds its value with minimal maintenance costs, this car is the gold standard.

2015 Accord Sedan EX - Pros and Cons

So I've had my car for just over 6 months now and feel I can give a pretty informed review of this car. I still love this car as much as the day I bought it but a couple of little things have come to light over time. The tilt/telescoping steering wheel is so poor that it is nearly useless. It is very awkward to use and if you are the type of person who likes to move the steering wheel out of the way when getting in/out of the car, this set up will make you crazy. I have pretty much just set it and don't touch it. I am also very disappointed with the amount of road/wind noise in this car. I hear traffic on the highway so clearly that at times I look around to see if I have left a window down, and wind noise? in a 6 month old car? I wish the inside of the trunk lid had a handle or something to grab when closing the trunk so I wouldn't have to pull it closed from the outside - and if you open the trunk when it's raining expect water to run into the trunk. Finally, while the right side blind spot camera is a novelty, I have found it's more distracting than useful. Who wants to see the side walk for 2 minutes while your sitting at a traffic light? I disabled it. OK - what I love is the way this car looks, drives, and feels. It's easy to find a comfortable driving position (tilt/telescoping steering wheel aside). This car is very peppy and rolls thru traffic with ease. I have easily achieved 29 - 30 mpg in mixed highway/city driving. It has a very serviceable back seat (it passed my Father's back seat test easily) and plenty of trunk space. I think the look is modern without being over the top. There are plenty of electronic gadgets to play with. I love the Bluetooth connectivity with my phone. Hands free phone calls and reads my texts to me. I do miss having a compass though. Overall I love this car and would absolutely buy it again.

2015 Accord EX-L, V6/Navi CBP

We have a one week old '15 EX-L, V6 with Navi in Black equipped with all the bells and whistles. Obviously, the Accord built quality had gone downhill over the years. The overall paint job on our brand new car is a big disappointment for an otherwise beautiful mid-size family sedan. I should have listened from the majority of 9th gen Accord owners to look somewhere else. The "360W Premium Audio System" is a BIG joke! I'm old and don't play loud music on the car. Neither I'm expecting a hard punch to blast my doors off. But seriously, the sound quality of the so-called Premium Audio System on this car reminds me of the very first car I owned in the early 70's. Expect to spend some money on the upgrade if you're an audiophile or better yet, don't use the radio at all. You might find listening to music off of your mobile devices more enjoyable.

Nice Car for the Money

Haven't had the car long enough to know much about the reliability. As a reviewer they make you put down something so I gave it 4 stars but who knows. I bought the 2 door Sports Coupe model # EX L with Nav it's a 4 cylinder and it has great pickup and also maneuvers in and out of traffic easily.
