2018 Honda Accord consumer reviews

I love this car. It's the Accord Touring, and it has more power, with better handling, more room, more comfort, and better gas mileage than my previous favorite, an Accura TL. Only drawbacks: the Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a warning-only system, which gives false alarms if not calibrated after each tire rotation or service; the HondaLink system is bizarre: even the dealer didn't understand its whims, and it took over a year to settle down. In the big picture, a minor flaw.

I loved the car until I hear it needs a fuel injection cleaning every 15,000 miles at $210 plus the transmission fluid replacement every 30-40,000 miles at $240. I had a Toyota Camry and every time I had them change the oil they gave me a report on tires and brakes condition. Honda dummies up instead wanting additional cost to inspect the breaks. Now I find out it has direct injection which is highly prone to carbon buildup on the valves. This injection system will be problematic, it’s just a matter of how long before it reaches my fuel economy and overall performance. A very needy car. The hood flutters when driving down the highway and I absolutely hate when the car decides to brake when merging into the highway.

Handles like a dream. Has lots of pep and very reliable. This is my 5th Honda. To me for the money they are the best cars on the market.

The accord has a great suite of features and it is a very enjoyable car to drive. The awesome gas mileage with the sporty feel is the cherry on top.

The Accord is much faster, corners well, great steering and everything works exceptionally well - just as expected. Outstanding infotainment system, luxurious without having to pay through the nose, and is really a blast to drive. Had a number of problems with the 2013 BMW, most of which the 2 BMW dealers could not fix even with German help - just a very poor design and poor company support. Plus maintenance costs after the warranty were 2-3x any other "normal" car - absolutely not worth it.

It's been reliable with great gas mileage and has handled very nicely even in heavy rains. I'm very please with this car so far. (Only 7000 miles on it so far.)

So far it’s been great. It’s very comfortable and stylish. I’ve gotten a few compliments and I’ve e only had the car for a few days.

I bought this car in a time of desperation since my previous car was stolen and totaled. I love my Accord Sport! Great on gas, the safety features are top notch, and no matter where I go, I always hear how Gorgeous my car is, and I have to agree!
