2018 Honda Accord consumer reviews

Seems sound so far mechanically. Inexpensive to maintain so far - less oil changes needed than other cars. The interior looks nice but I've had issues with rattling and vibrating front dash, back speakers and diver side door from the get go. My hearing is very acute though so others may not notice this as much. However, it pretty much drives me nuts! I have taken it to a couple of dealerships to fix but they say they don't hear anything. I have another appointment this weekend at a different dealership, I'm praying they have a solution. My 2007 Accord was never this noisy inside, and it has 200k miles on it. All the plastic they use nowadays I guess. I may have to install some of that tacky looking carpet stuff to remediate. I hope not...

Overall, the vehicle is nice. It's spacious, comfortable, and looks good. However, even driving in Eco Mode and extremely gently, I have only averaged around 40 MPG. Not the 47 MPG advertised. Also, the transmission is bumpy between 40 - 60 MPH. It seem like it can't decide if it wants to accelerate or coast. This creates a bumpy sensation, almost as with an all gasoline engine sputtering. When I brought this up at the dealership I was informed that this is normal because the vehicles tend to over shift. If this is true, I probably won't buy another one. Other than these two issues, the vehicle is good.

This car replaced my 2012 Hyundai Genesis which had every bell and whistle available from Genesis in 2012. This Honda has most of those features and then some. I have had the vehicle for only one month but find the gas mileage superior in the Honda with the 1.5L Turbo vs. the 3.6L V-6 found in the Genesis. Keep in mind the Genesis was quieter and a wee bit bigger overall, so there are certain trade-offs both ways.

For starters, it is a sharp looking car. Also, I could not have chosen a more beautiful color, white. The car has plenty of leg room, both front and rear

It's an elegant car. However is the most annoying car. My first and last Honda I will ever have. I am very disappointed with the rattles noise that is coming from the dash. I took it multiple times to the dealer and they say the noise goes away when its hot, that's not true I have recorded several times and it still make the noise even when is warm. The dealer does not care about it. Very bad services. Don’t waste your money, you will be very, very disappointed and very stressed.

This car is nice but full of rattles. Headliner, back deck, seats, dash. Been to the dealer several times and the outcome is the same. Junk. Will never buy another Honda. I’ll spend the extra and look at the Lexus or Infinity next time.

I put 71k miles on my accord and litterly this car has been giving me nothing but problems I've been consistent on oil changes and transmission changes plus more too make sure my car runs smooth for the years I wanted too keep it... The way things are looking now I am simply disappointed and wasted so much money on a car that Honda doesnt even know what could be the cause of my car problems it was fun while it lasted maybe I got the lemon out of the million of cars they released but I'm highly frustrated and disappointed with Honda.

Been a great car has 20300 mile on it 2018 Honda accord sport 1.5 turbo, only complaint on the interstate if you get five car lengths from a semi truck it will pull your steering wheel to the right and left .

This is for the Accord Touring 2.0T. Comfy - the seats are great: supportive, well bolstered, nicely stitched. Sporty - the 2.0 turbo matched w/ 10sp auto is a sleeper sports car! Had V6 all my driving life and thought I would miss it. This Honda combo is really that good. Ya gotta drive it! Roomy - while not much larger outside than my 2008 Accord, the inside is so much better packaged that it feels much roomier. And the rear seats are as good as you've read. Well built - solid comes to mind at every hinge, compartment, door opening. The car feels well planted and solid getting in/out. The doors feel substantial when operating, and all the gears/knobs just feel solid and 'right'. All the comforts - this feels like an $80k luxe car inside. It really does. Powerful AC - very little spool up time before the cool air floods the cabin. Same can be said for heating. Test drove a new one at a dealer - LOVED IT. Found a used one online and bought it - LOVE IT STILL! Just WOW - this Accord is really GREAT.
