I would climb the highest mountain to own a Honda

I've owned one other Honda which was stolen before it ever wore out. So I was set on getting another one that was not as likely to be stolen as my '98 Civic was. I love this car except it has a little rougher ride than my '98. The '98 was an EX and this one is an LX (one model lower).

Very reliable car

This is the first Honda I ever own and it is the most reliable car that I have ever own as well. I had the civic for 3 years and the only minor problem I had is with the spark plugs. The spark plugs were very easy to change on my own and it only took me less than 30 mins. I never change plugs before but watching a youtube video make it very easy to do. I am near the 300,000 miles mark on my car and I know I could get another 100,000 miles. Great car for the price.

Never let me down, everything I needed.

I've owned my Civic for 119,000 miles (148,000 on odometer) and would still trust it on a long trip. It has a surprising amount of headroom in front (I'm 6'2"). I've never had an unexpected repair. It is cramped in back, and things like the CD player and gas door cable have stopped working over time. But the engine, transmission, and major components all work well.

Reliable and Inexpensive!

I have owned it for 3 years now, and the 14-year old car is still working wonderfully. It has 202,000 miles now! Great for tall people, the 2005 Civic EX has lots of headroom.
