Perfect Dave Ramsey car!!!!

Bought 2008 with 94k miles on it and have owned it for 2 years (115k on it now). Great value car, great Dave Ramsey car(read the Total Money Makeover), great car value to avoid debt(buy one off a “grandma” (=low miles and not driven hard(it only went to church and the grocery store🤣😂)). I will drive it to 200k or more and my investment accounts will keep on growing!

Well-rounded, low-cost vehicle.

Great car for those who look for a vehicle which is low cost to buy, fuel, and maintain; all while being comfortable, spacious and fast enough for most people's needs. Owning one for several years, it's not indestructible, but problems can be caught well in advance if you know something feels off.

Great looks but little room and poor engine power

Amazing car. Fuel efficient. But very little interior space, the engine belt key often breaks and mechanics have said this is because the engine is too strong for the bolt to carry. When it breaks, it is a terrible experience, which comes with loud crackling sounds from the engine. Also the engine seaters appear to wear out quickly causing the car to vibrate with the engine thrusts. One other thing, poor engine power as well as poor braking power. That is a bad combination, so driver should be very wary of this weakness. Otherwise the car is great, and i enjoyed it until i had an accident due to its terrible braking system

Most Reliable Car I've Owned

I owned my Honda Civic for 5 years and put 150,000 miles on it. I have never had a more reliable car. It never once left me stranded or had any major mechanical issues. Really it had no issues at all. If I wasn't looking to upgrade to a larger vehicle, I would have kept my car forever. Even with the current mileage on it of 205,000 miles, it ran like it was brand new. I would have no hesitation recommending this vehicle to anyone. The very best car I have ever owned!

Lives up to it's rep.

I've always wanted a Civic, and now that I finally have one, it does not disappoint. It's just an all around great car; and being of diminutive stature, I appreciate that I can comfortably drive it, without having to be right up against the steering wheel, or having to sit on a cushion to see over the dash, ha! Love it.

Basic transportation, good mileage

Typical used Honda. Has high miles. Requires me to change parts due to age and rust. Recently did control arms, ball joints, brakes, exhaust and intake. Car is loud but slow. Its build quality isn’t special. It is not as reliable as I would want it. Gas mileage is about 34 combined. But it’s small and underpowered. Easy to maintain and my paint is not faded so that is a plus.

Most reliable car I have ever owned.

This is my second civic, first coupe. I've owned it for roughly 6 years. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. I keep up on oil changes, tires, and brakes and so far so good. It dis have the airbag recall and I took it into the Honda dealer to have it fixed at no cost. The backseat is small but I don't sit back there so it's not a problem for me. My only complaint are the blind spots. Could be enhanced by my shortness. Overall I love my car and I will most likely keep it for many more years.
