2009
This is such a great car in many ways, from the sporty coupe exterior to the inside panal and navigation system. Not to mention I can receive and make hands free phone calls.

Disappointed
Having had many compact cars before it, this one has to be the most disappointing of them all. Going from a 2006 Rav4 to the 2009 civic was one of the worse decisions I'd decided to make. Pros -Sleek design. -Barely saves money on gas compared to my prior 2006 Rav4 which had a V6 engine and 270 hp. -Ipod port in arm rest compartment. Cons -Crammed interior. About 1/3 of the interior is the dash which sticks out about 2 feet from the window and is pretty bulky. I'm only 5'8 and my head almost reaches the roof of the car. My knees are constantly rubbing on the dash. Very little leg room for adults sitting in the back seat. -The hood and window is very sloped which makes it impossible to see the hood of the car. Can't see the trunk either. The sloped windows also distorts or blurs view when dirty, foggy, sunny, etc. Reliability -As of now my civic has a little over 50k miles on it and the transmission is starting to slip. It's an automatic transmission and when Accelerating the first gear is slipping hard. The second doesn't slip as bad as first gear. The third gear doesn't slip as bad as second gear. When Decelerating the car jerks pretty hard going down the gears. Especially when close to a complete stop. I don't drive crazy or ever smash the brakes. I speed up smoothly and go down smoothly. The main reason I went for this car was because I had a 2000 civic before and liked how easy it was to drive, saved money on gas and never gave me any problems. Can't say the same for the civic I have now.

My 4th Honda and for good reason
This car has so many assets and buttons to them I haven't discovered all of them yet; but in the meantime, Honda has delivered another very comfortable and reliable ride.

Economy Minded Performance
The 2009 Civic Si Sedan is a great car for someone looking for an aggressive yet driveable sports/family car. The look is outstanding and the performance is there when you want it to be. Or if you are looking for a reliable, good on gas commuter it can be that too. The car is rated at 29mpg highway, yet i am getting 32mpg with my driving style. The only drawback that it might have is that it requires premium fuel. Overall I am very pleased with the car and would definately buy another if this one ever wears out. It is a Honda though...so that could take some time.

Good car
I am 6"4" tall and I fit into this car pretty well. I find the bucket seats a bit uncomfortable, but not terrible. My wife generally drives this car, and she likes it very much. Mileage better than advertized.

Great Fun and Practical Car
After a month of driving it, I love my Si Sedan. I prefer it to the newer model since I like the higher rpm driving style and sound. The mileage is no great shakes for a Civic, but that isnt why you buy these. The stereo is magnificent and is by far the best in the price class. The seats are surprisingly comfortable in the front and back. You cant buy more fun at this price point in a car that is remotely practical.

Simi
I am very impressed with this. I find it to be engineered to be in tune with the driver. I only wish that Honda would have changed so much for 2012.

another great honda
this is my 4th honda coupe, a 2009 civic ex... great mileage, great stereo, very comfortable interior, handles well, looks great... love the 2 level dash downside is an occasionally rough ride, a little noisy and a little underpowered with a full load and the a/c running... fairly typical for a small car... very satisfied with this car for the little i paid...
