2009 Honda Civic consumer reviews

I have owned this car since 2009 and it currently has 240,000 miles on it. Great car! No major repairs. I have now passed it down to my daughter to drive. It just keeps going!

Super smooth ride and super reliable. Great gas mileage and easy ride. For as long as Honda's last, I believe this purchase to be a great investment.

This car met all of my needs. It has plenty of legroom in the front and back, the ride is great and awesome compare to other cars.

I think it's a great reliable car that you can have fun with and test its limits and it always puts a smile on my face I think who ever gets it next will share the same feeling that I did

I have had a Honda for many years, before this civic I had an Accord and was concerned that it would not be as reliable, because it was smaller. No need to worry, this little car is perfect for me. I have never had a mechanical problem and though I don? t put on too many miles ( 65,000 miles in 8 years) I used it for work for 5 years, commuting 30 miles a day and do a lot of short trips. So I would say I?m happy.

This car is amazing! Very stylish on the inside with the leather and moonroof, the sound system in it is top of the line! Good gas mileage!!!!!!!!!!!!

This car is an amazing daily driver. I've had zero issues with this car since I purchased this car with 56,000 and now it has almost 80,000 miles on it. It's very reliable which you can expect from a Honda.

Now have 139k miles on it. Runs just like it did when I bought it at a year old with 17k miles. Only issue is it still has the same issue as the 2006-8's - something wrong with the mounting of the rear suspension causing premature tire wear. This was supposed to have been corrected during the production run in 2008. Extremely comfortable seating. Only repairs so far was replacement of the front brake pads. Like the rest of this generation of Civics, too much road noise, especially when the rear suspension impacts tire wear on the rear tires. Good sound system, great headlights, excellent fuel economy. I would have rated the reliability excellent if not for the rear suspension issue.

It's car I never regretted owning and I will buy it over and over again. Very comfortable and reliable.

This vehicle has met all of my driving needs. Smooth driving, comfortable, gas friendly, etc. i love my honda civic and i wouldnt trade it for the world
