Very reliable car. Easy on the wallet .

Very good car. Only 1 recall. ( air bag on pass. ) Never changed a single bulb yet. Has 73,400 miles 5 speed man. Still have the same battery. On third set of tires. Great car for young or old person. Great on gas. Never got me stranded . Drives like the first day I bought it . Will keep this car till the tires fall off it ! Hope this answers any questions. ( No rust )

reliable - good control

Not a SUV, but can put the rear seat down for more room. Would like more room though without the back dash.

Bought it back in 2014...worth it.

Honda has made their vehicles to last for a veeery long time. I bought mine pre-owned with approximately 40,000 I have taken care and it has taken care of me since then. I currently have 92,000 miles on it with absolutely no problems. Worth it. Their engine is magnificent work of art. And to this day I drive it as if I bought off the lot for the first time. Honda has a long history of making great vehicles and this is one of them.

Great at first

The 2009 Honda civic has a lot to offer for the price. The interior is very stylish and is driver focused. The 8th generation of civic really was a game changer for the market with it's controversial but beautiful interior design.

Awesome car except for paint issues.

In 100k miles this car never gave me any issues except for recalls or the paint. It would be hard to say that the car is near perfect minus the clear coat delamination.

First and most reliable car so far!

First car, bought her at 17 and purchased for $7,000 with 112k on the clock. Love the car and runs strong at a current 118k now! Full time college student and happy with the purchase with having easy access to a comfortable, gas saving ride. I actually was considering a Subaru Impreza, but glad that the FWD system gets me roughly 27 mpg city, and averaging about 310 miles on a full tank (lasts me 2 weeks)! Very happy with the purchase; all thanks to cars.com for helping me find her!
