Civic is 4 City Driving Only

I own a 2009 EX and the only thing this car lacks is a comfortable ride. Why the ride/ suspension on this car is fair to poor really hurts this product. This car is OK for short trips around town. The ride is crude and the road noise is quite high. You feel the slightest imperfections in the road and there is no excuse for that. If Honda had designed a better suspension this would be an outstanding car. Also, the cloth is a bit cheap and wears quickly. Get Leather. Gas mileage is superior (35MPG) provided you drive it like its goinig to break.

Overall best car

Overall great car! Amazing on gas mileage! Has enough room for passengers, back seat in my 4 door folds down to fit more stuff in trunk ( I fit two longboard surf boards in my car) Drives very smoothly... I did my research before buying this car, compared to scion tc or cobalt it's the best of the 3 in reliability and value.... I used to drive a Honda accord, and really love my civic! My accord is over 10 years d and still runs great! I'm looking forward to 10 more years with my civic! :) honda's are the most reliable cars!

great little care

I love the civic coupe, very comfortable seats for the long commute every day. Amazing stereo, superior handling, a car that is easy to use, easy to park, drives great. HOWEVER, for someone that racks up alot of miles the service/maintenance program is a big problem. The service dept doesn't want to perform the maintenance, oil change, if the wrench light hasn't come on. my car could be at the other end of texas or south dakota or wyoming when that happens...not convenient to stop what I'm doing and take the car to san antonio for service. So, no, I wouldn't have purchased this car if I'd known what a hassle getting service would be. If you never leave town it wouldn't be a big deal. I can't live my life according to the wrench light...But the car is a dream.

Great Car for the Money

I sold my Scion TC and replaced it with this Honda Civic Coupe, my main reason for switching to Honda was the dealer service from Toyota. I have had the Civic for 5 months with no probelms I love the looks of the car and the features. Great Car for the MONEY.

This platform has come a long way

Much nicer than the Civics of yore in just about every way; probably the most comfortable car in its class.

Great Little Car

This car has been everything we hoped it would be. It's fun and economical to drive (34-36 mpg no matter what the driving conditions) and we love how it looks.

The EX is worth the extra money!

We have owned many Honda's and Acura products and the 2010 Civic EX Sedan is one of the best! It is stylish, roomy, accelerates with spunk and is very much a mini "Accord" in EX form. The EX interior is elegant and snazzy. The materials are rich for a car in its class. We enjoy the two-tone gray corduroy-like cloth upholstery and the quality is unsurpassed. The wheels are aggressive and make the car look far more expensive. The upscale EX has an extra dose of character, sporty flair and exemplifies fun. The front and back seats are spacious, there are six airbags, the tilt and slide sunroof is quite large, the rear seat-backs split, fold and lock. The dashboard is modern and especially nice to look at night with its soft blue mood-lighting hue. Everything is logically placed and easy to reach and operate. The six speaker stereo has an upscale sound. The ABS works like a dream. We feel extremely safe in this vehicle. I would love to see traction control standard across the board, but you get much for the reasonable price of the EX model already. The polish metal metallic gray exterior color draws much praise! The fit and finish are flawless. We have no reservations recommending this superb, cute and flirty "little" Honda sedan! It does everything well and then some.
