too much road noise, cheap interior.
Purchased this car for commuting and its good for that purpose. The interior is mostly hard molded plastic, previous Honda Civics owned were 2000 LX and 2004 Civic EX and seemed to have better interior quality and a little less road noise. AT 70 miles per hour you can`t even hear the radio.

Least Reliable Civic I've owned
This is my 3rd Civic, and Honda definitely cut corners on this model, cheap interior plastic, horrible road noise and uncomfortable seats. At 500 miles the traction control unit failed, followed by the A/C failing at 3000 miles, and then at 5000 miles the emission control module went out. The factory stereo is one of the worst I've ever heard - my clock radio sounds better. The only thing I like about this car is the excellent gas mileage... I get about 39 MPG on the highway.

Best high school first car
I got this used 2012 Honda Civic EX as my first car and I love. The Bluetooth works amazing, the speakers are so great when I?m blasting my music when I?m driving to school or other school activities. The cars steering is a lot better then the car I learn to drive in(Scion Xb). The car has amazing visibility for changing lanes and backing up. Super reliable and I?ve had 0 issues with it. I wish the car had a turbo 240 hp engine but the 140 hp works perfectly fine for me. Definitely recommend this car to all parents looking to buy their high school teenager the first car at 16/17. Buy the EX trim though if you get the 2012 model because it comes with Bluetooth.

Excellent Car
I bought this car after my old ones transmission failed me. This is a fantastic car. The interior looks really cool and its got all the neat little gadgets you need. The display is on of my favorite things about the car. It sounds pretty good too for being such a little car. The exterior isn't very interesting at all but with some modifications you can make it look really cool. Overall a very nice car and I would recommend it to anyone.

Combines style, economy, and reliability
I truly love this car and always get compliments on its exterior, color, interior dash. the center dash board that has the control for the AC and sound system is slightly rotated towards the driver, and that is so cool, adds a unique style rather than just being centered and boring. It?s coupe but hasn?t plenty of leg room. the Trunk is surprisingly spacious and if you fold the back seats you have so much room. I always have my two scuba tanks, a huge diving bag that has all the gear, long fins, two 120-130cm spear guns, lobster snare, a decent size cooler all fit in the trunk. Very economic I drive from miami to orlando and back in one tank (460 miles)! i swear i have owners for over 5 years, didn?t need unscheduled service not even once. It?s fast and i?m always driving max limit. I love the fact that it?s a front wheel it?s safer at acute turns even with speed. I put 4 stars for performance just because now I have a mustang : ) Definitely a reliable, stylish, and gas saving car that i recommend to any friend

Honda Quality and Economy
Having owned a 2007 Civic Coupe the 2012 Civic Coupe is more refined but true to the basic quality that makes the Civic a good value. Car does lack some performance as the 1.8Liter motor only has 140HP which is not enough to be sporty but the car has solid handling and a good ride quality.
