100% Reliable & completely dependable car I owned

First of all this is a Honda which means completely reliable & dependable no matter whatever miles you put on the car. The engine is of exceptional quality & just runs for ever, zero mechanical failures. The ownership cost is comparatively low as this is a fuel efficient car with 29.5 mi/gal city limits & over 35 on highway. The costs would involve regular scheduled maintenance & gasoline. This car has got a decent acceleration very necessary when you are getting into freeways with 140 horses on hand. The car has a economy mode wherein it would assist you controlling fuel consumption, gentle on throttle, gentle on transmission shift pattern [auto], effective air con. The interiors & exteriors are cool and attractive. The digital odometer looks very cool on the dash.

This car is sporty with great handling

I have enjoyed this vehicle very much. Bought it with 9k and it now has 85k. Only problem I've noticed is my 3rd gear will sometimes lock me out or grind at higher rpms.

Thought I bought the perfect car

I love my honda civic the style, design, and performance is excellent. I do however have a issue with getting in and out the passenger about week ago I went to get in and pop my knees out of place. Every day since then I'm in pain and it pops out of place getting in and out. I will be scheduling a appointment with primary care and seeing a specialist next week to find out the damage. My good friend got rid of her 2012 civic because it tore her knee up. Never thought it would happen to me. Has anyone else had this issue. I'm afraid I'm going to have to trade it in I've tried getting in al different ways to save my knee. Have had no success. Please respond if possible I'm only 47.

the funnest coupe that I've owned

I bought this car used. I really like the power and handling of my SI. It's a great little car. I wish I had the extra two doors because access to the backseat is a bit tough to do and I carry a lot of equipment with me for jobs. The trunk is decent. I'm able to fit one bag of golf clubs or one ball cart. The seats inside do fold down but difficult if you already have stuff in the seats. The stereo is nice but the bluetooth is older so the music tends to be lagged by 4 seconds if you watch videos and such in your car. Gas mileage is not as nice as the other civic models but you get the additional power to go with it. Would be nice to be able to drive over 300 miles in a tank of gas. I get about 29-30 miles per gallon before the light turns on that I need gas.

I love Hondas!

The very first car I got was a 2009 Honda Civic. I loved it. 2 years later I ended up in a very bad accident, totaling the vehicle. I was unharmed. For this reason, I love Hondas! I never felt so safe in a vehicle. Needless to say, I purchased another one after the accident (2012) and it's been riding with me every since.

Great car with very good gas mileage

The civic is a great vehicle. It is super reliable, has great gas mileage, and the 2012 body style looks really good.

Gets you A to B I guess

If you just need to get from one place to another and that is your only concern, then this car is great. If you are looking to get more out of driving such as comfort, pleasure, style, or entertainment, look elsewhere immediately. The car has a severe disconnect from the driver. There is zero feel for the car and the handling is atrocious. You might as well be driving the car with an arcade steering wheel as there is no feedback. The car is an absolute drag to drive and is severely underpowered even for a civic. It takes a noticeable amount of time to react to the gas pedal and the automatic transmission is just a little slower than that. Lots of body roll even on regular corners. Other than that the car has many quirks that irk me. The digital speedometer location is exactly in the wrong position for one handed driving. The steering wheel doesn't have enough adjustment. Windshield wipers will squeak and streak regardless of brand. After using wiper nozzles, a line of fluid goes straight down the middle of the windshield. Once you set the cruise control, be prepared to have a 5-7 MPH variation especially on hills. Overall, I hate this car. It's cheap and poorly designed. The engine and drivetrain is lackluster and underpowered. The handling is a joke.
