basic seating conforts.

Only drawback is no real lumbar seating for the driver on long trips. Passenger seat person suffers by being supported with a pillow for your back. Honda does not consider it a standard necessity for lumbar controls, but they are heated seats.

Si means Yes

Purchased my 2012 Civic Si Sedan after i got my first real solid job. Honda had good financing for people who graduated college after 2 years. Wanted the Subaru WRX but they wouldn't finance me. Thought about getting a WV GTI or GLI but the selection on the GLI was small and the dealerships were an hour away which concerned me for if something was ever to need to be fixed. Never had any issues with my Civic Si running an i drive it like i stole it right off the lot. there have been some sespention parts that have needed to be replaced but the warranty covered the shocks but i ended up paying $500 for the rear. I keep getting hit, one got side swiped by a F150. there was extensive body work but the body shop put it back together. Another time i got rear ended at a light by Mercury Crown Victoria thing. Air bags didn't go off either time and considering recalls i don't know if I'm lucky or not. also the front windshield got broken twice. The blue tooth works well but i rarely use the voice command. My iPhone syncs well with the radio and calling. Sometimes it disconnects but overall works quickly and reliably. I get on average 30mpg on regular fuel. Engine sounds good when running hard but is quiet most of the time. Interior looks really cool, love the 2 tear speedo and tac. IMID is cool too but 2013 came standard with rear view camera so I'm kinda miffed over that. driving on the stock tires made the car twitchy and had really harsh road noise so i bought better tires. Got 103000 on the car and i'm on my 3rd set. better tires make the car feel much more planted and stable and helps with the road noise but that makes its kinda uncomfortable. Seats looks cool and are ok but long trips make my back hurt. I have to take a rest long before the fuel runs out. Car runs great in the rain, very little hydro planing and is stable in the return in heavy rain at highway speeds. You'll lose visibility before traction. The clutch started squeaking around 75000miles but hasn't failed yet. I cannot fit under the car because of beer and burgers but with a couple of lift ramps its easy to change the oil and oil filter. Engine seems to use some oil so its good to check the level at 50%. Hate changing the engine air filter, really find that difficult. Transmission sometimes wont go into 1st at the light if you don't shift down so i have to shift into 2nd then into 1st. Car as a acceptable amount of room in the back, not good for long trips but adequate for normal use. Power is great, you can outrun most trucks to 60. I highly recommend the Civic Si however pricing is kinda high, i could get a accord for the same price that is much bigger but is heaver and has 10 horse power less. biggest problem i run into with the Civic Si is in Houston everyone dives trucks so i'm kinda afraid i may get squished sometime. Also in the Houston area all the roads are boring so its not a good place to enjoy a car that handles well.

2012 Honda Civic Ex - Excellent car

Selling my Honda Civic. It is an excellent condition vehicle. Very good servicing records, clean title. It has some scratches on the side back bumper other than that no problem at all. It has installed Honda original navigation and sunroof. I am giving the vehicle floor mat and some required cleaning stuffs for vehicle as free. Carfax price is way higher, i am asking less than that. Tex me on given number if you are interested to see, i will call you back.

Most reliable car I've owned.

This car has ways to go. I've taken it to ny plenty of times and commuted from work to home. Mostly highway miles. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have two cars and am not using this one anymore.

Great!

Really great car, rides smooth. Not the quietest cabin but not bad. Feels good to drive, and of course very reliable, and fantastic at the pump.

The 2012 Honda Civic Coupe

This car is probably one of the best deals on the market for what it is. Although its no luxury or sports car; its quick, reliable, easy to maintain, great on gas and has a great line up of aftermarket products to make the car up to your liking. I personally own a 2012 civic lx coupe and I bought it for $8000 with a clean title and 96,000 miles put on the car. The car was well maintained by the previous owner and I knew based on the paperwork provided, it was a great buy. It's a perfect car to get around in with states with higher gas prices because of its economical design. However with it being an "Eco car" it lacks that UMPH a V8 HEMI would give you, or even a strong six cylinder such as a Nissan 350z. The Pros: The style is hands down one of the best things about this car. Especially for the 9th generation coupe civic line up. It's sleek, has nice angles, and has an aggressive front and rear end. The sedan model is less aggressive, however it still has impressive features. The interior is nicely done with a fully digital Head's Up Display that gives basic information such as speed in mph or kph, fuel level, warnings and cautions and even has a cool real time fuel economy display based on how you drive. The tachometer is analog. The buttons all around the car are firm and have a nice click to them. The upholstery is done pretty well and will take quite some time to wear. The maintenance is second to none. Fixing the car, if it ever brakes is very easy and Honda made everything accessible around the engine bay and the undercarriage of the car. Part are pretty cheap because of the Japanese market and finding aftermarket part are even easier. These are just a few of many tings about the car that I love. The Cons: Mind you that I did buy the car used so not everything was in perfect shape so my post might differ from others. On thing that you notice on the car is the paint, while in pretty good condition, it can chip and shed very easily. If you don't treat your paint to a fresh coat of wax every so often, you will find yourself with paint beginning to chip off the hood, doors, and quarter panels. Another thing I don't like is the amount of plastic in and around the vehicle. There is plastic pieces everywhere, and yes they feel pretty solid and will be cheap to replace, it still will cause vibrations in the car over its life span. If you don't like drum brakes, well this LX has rear drums, and I find that to be a total turn off considering it's a modern car and drums are pretty inefficient at stopping the car compared to discs all around. One other thing that I don't like is the lack of power. This is more of a personal preference, but I just love a car with get up and go power, and yes this car has it, but it's in the 3500-4500 RPM range before the car pushes you back in your seat a little. With all that being said, the car is an excellent buy. You are getting a pretty modern car and a good looking one for a very decent price point. If you are on the edge about the 2012 Civic LX Coupe I say quit wasting your time and test drive it. You will really never know until you get behind the wheel and drive the car. It is probably the most stylish economy car on the market and you wont be disappointed in your decision if you should choose to own the car.
