2001 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

I loved my 2001 CR-V, great visiblity, good handling, comfortable drive, reliable and a great value. Had it for 9 years and NEVER had a breakdown.

my 2001 crv has been great here in vermont. i bought this in 2005 for 15k. its great in very snowy conditions and all weather conditions also is very zippy for a 4 cylinder. its has plenty of power. its also very good gas. i fill it and get 400 miles on a tank. its very economical vehile and plan pn many more years of enjoyment.

i love my2001 crv. it goes all over the place. i travel a lot and put many miles on this great vehicle. it also is very good in bad weather with the 4x4. i have just reached 200,000 miles on it and still runs excellent.pick up one you will be happy you did and so will your wallet.

i own this 2001 honda crv. i bought new and i have 175000 miles on it. its been great in the winter and nasty weather. always feel safe and gets me home safe too. the great gas mpg is great too. if you get one you wont regret it. its vey comfortable and has lots of room. very convient vehicle. i give my honda crv 10 stars.

I have owned two 2001 Honda CR-V's. After a deer totaled me out in the first one we looked at other vehicles, but bumped into one that had just been traded in and figured why waste time learning the features of a new vehicle when we were perfectly happy with the first one. Our first CR-V was a 2WD. It got about 2 more mpg than the 4WD. The one we have now gets 24.5 mpg Hwy. It's also great on tires. We're pushing 50k and could easily make 60k on the set that's on it now. I'd buy another one, but the newest model seems smaller than those built before 2006.

I bought a 2001 Honda CR-V that was one problem after another. The engine developed a head gasket leak, the transmission would stick when going up a steep incline, and the cooling system constantly leaked. A piece of Junk!

This car is prety dang awsome. I took it camping and it hauled everything I put in to it. Little high on the RPM's. NEVER got stuck in anything! Replaced 4th cylinder, dont know what happened. Road noise is a problem, honda told me that it was the side mirrors. I would recomend this car to anyone!

I love my 2001 CRV, it is just the right size, good on gas, 4 wheel drive. If I was to buy another new car, I would buy another CRV. The only trouble we have had is both driver's door window motors are not working, so they'll have to be fixed, but it is 7 yrs. ols. I drive it to work 35miles each way almost daily, it's been to the ocean several times. We love our CRV!!!

as an awd vehicle it still gets a respectible mpg rating.its performance in all types of weather has been outstanding.I would recomend it to anyone.

I trust this car to start every day and take me wherever I want to go. In 7 years of ownership it's NEVER been in the shop. At 105,000 miles, it's on its second set of tires and brake pads in front and that's it. Change the oil, treat it with some respect and this car will return the favor. Plus, it's so easy to get in and out of, has an upright seating position and a decent sound system, and has a lot of its value remaining. What more could you ask of a car?? I just wish they would offer this car in diesel.
