2001 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

I liked everything about this car -- great visibility out of the windows, nice and cold A/C, great traction in the winter, handled well. The only bad part for me was that the driver's seat was not that comfortable, however my son drove it even more than I did and he thought it was comfortable. Personal preference I guess.

Bought my 2001 CRV new; don't laugh, it only has 85,000 miles on it. I replaced the timing belt only because I thought it was a good idea; didn't have to. The driver's side window doesn't work, the automatic locks went out, but never had a major repair; sometimes it's not the miles on the car, but the age of the parts which are now 17 years old. The car picks up speed very well, starts every time, and the AC still gives out nice, cool air especially living in Florida. I make it a point to change the oil every 3 months. If I ever decide to buy a newer model CRV, I have 6 neighbors wanting my 2001. I love it. It has never failed me

I love this car! From the sporty design, to the Fun driving it, yet practical and big cargo Space (ask how many friends I helped moving!), it?s the best car I ever owned! Gas mileage is also reasonable, being a 4 cylinder, and general Maintenance, and I can literally count on 5 fingers any repairs I ever needed!

This is in addition to my, almost identical, 1997 CR-V, which was the most reliable car I have ever owned.

I love the reliability of any Honda. It has great resale value and it?s parts can be sold for decent value.

Cute little used car with lots of room for all your needs. Easy to park in the city and great on the highway.

Great all round vehicle.....use it to run to town all the time....great mileage...32 mpg.....now only use the truck with the fifth wheel or for hauling large items because the CRV is so efficient & comfortable. Taken it for all long distance visits for the last 3 years. Reliable...have no problems.

I owned this car for five years and lost it in a divorce. Currently, trying to purchase it again for a fresh start at a new life post divorce. It was the best car ever. I did a lot of Saturday day trips just to drive the car.

I loved it for the 16 years I have had & put many miles & states on it. Felt safe with being higher up than regular car. & plan to get another soon.
