Just the right mix of minivan and car features

The Honda CR-V has the handling and fuel economy of my last car combined with the comfort, cargo space and front seat visibility of a minivan. Minor drawbacks: I find the seat headrests particularly uncomfortable and the front seat console limited. Also, cargo tends to roll around loose more than in the minivan. I have added a headrest cushion to the driver's seat and a cargo holder to the back.

Great car so far.

I have had numerous Honda's. Never had a CRV before and I have had this one for about a month. I am very impressed with every aspect of the vehicle. Right now I would recommend it to anyone.

Great car for the money

I have had this car since May '11 and it's has been a joy owning this utilitarian masterpiece. The car is ultra reliable, great on gas, has a comfortable ride and is build to be a solid everyday family car. The looks isn't probably why your considering this vehicle but it's not bad on the eye either. Interior is ultra simple, especially the LX model. Overall I believe if you need a reliable, everyday car that is going to be used daily for any particular reason you can think of, this car is it. And also this car has one of the best resale values in it's class, not that I'm thinking of selling my "lurja" anytime soon.

Warbird

The CRV is great, but they want more for them because of it. The last time I paid more for a Honda than a comparable vehicle I got the shaft. I purchased a new 2002 Honda Odyssey and it ran like a champ until 126K and that was when I found out that Honda has a major transmission problems and they have known about it. I took excellent care of that car and got little for it when I traded it in. The Honda Sales manager told me he could not give me more because of the known impending transmission problem. I really hope that I do not have the same experience with the CRV.

New Car Review

2011 Honda CRV a very good looking vehicle, smaller and not near the storage areas of 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that I sold privately. Interior very good looking and comfortable...love the armrests!! Seems a bit underpowered but I have had the vehicle for only 3 weeks and no long drives yet. Desired a newer vehicle with nav and backup camera similar to other vehicle - 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited.

First time Honda owner

I've been researching this car for months along with other models when I decided this would be the one. The performance, gas mileage, style and comfort has far exceeded my expectations.

Great car

I test drove several small SUVs and settled on the CR-V for several reasons. It's a Honda, with a great track record of reliability and value. It drove better than the other vehicles I tried. It didn't feel like a tank -- nimbly and kind of fun. I was looking for a decent car with AWD that I can load up with stuff (kids, dogs, recyclables, etc.) that wasn't quite a minivan. This is it! It's not an exciting car, but it's the perfect car for my lifestyle. Not particularly macho, but that's doesn't bother me.

CRV - Best Car I've Ever Owned

This is my second Honda CRV. My first was a 1999 EX and got 200,000 miles and I'm expecting the same or more from my new-to-me 2011 SE. I love that it is so responsive and handles easily while providing comfort for 5 people and amazing cargo space. There's lots of headroom and legroom. I appreciate the all-wheel drive for Nebraska's unpredictable weather. The gas mileage is descent for an SUV. I'm averaging about 23 in town and 28 on the highway.

Glad I Listened to Other CRV Owners

I have avoided owning a Honda because of bad experience in the past with another product. I am so glad I tried this car because I find it has a substantial feeling when I am driving it and it is so easy to handle. I like the height of the car and because it is built on a higher platform I am able to see traffic better. It has a very smooth ride and for just a base model it is nicely equipped. Everything I need. Great breaking, quick pickup when needed. I do find on long rides the seating is a little stiff. Could be a little more comfortable.
