Love the car

Love the car - takes some getting used to moving from a larger Sienna. There are a few things I would change but overall it is a great SUV.

Honda 2013 CRV

Hi, I purchased the 2013 Honda CRV about 3 weeks ago. So far I think that I made the right choice. The CRV feels comfortable, although do not expect a very soft ride. Also there is some road noise. Not a big deal for me. I really like the handling and performance (even though its only 4 cyl.) It feels more roomy inside than you might think. I would recommend this car. Only gave 4 stars because of the minor road noise and somewhat stiffer ride. Not a big deal though.

Mama loves it!

PROS Great mileage (better than rating). Great suspension around town with uneven surfaces and potholes. Easy parking. Back-up camera is great. Overall a great vehicle for the price. Plastic trim around bottom to reduce rust, tar, & paint chip problems is very nice. CONS Limited view due to front/back pillars and small rear window. No passenger seat armrest. Road noise is a bit higher than expected... maybe it can be reduced by insulating the spare tire holder.

crv is fun

I am happy with the new crv, I just traded in a 2 year old model of the same. The 2013 crv is nicer inside and out with a smoother ride, larger cargo area and bluetooth. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a small suv. The new eco button also conserves gas.

Very Average

I have had my CRV for one month now. The road noise is terrible. I use to drive a Jeep Liberty and it was had less noise. The stereo system is very average. I find the CRV to very tinny. The Honda CRV is below average. The upside my wife is ok with the CRV. This will be my first and last HONDA. This CRV was purchased at Pacific Honda in San Diego. There Service dept is the worst will not be going back there.

Best Car the for the second time

CRV- EX is a great value and feels solid and comfortable on the road. Just completed our first road trip with it. Good economy, could be better but much better than older models. A little sluggish with Eco button on. Great comfort and features for the money. Overall I am hooked!

nice car for the money

The CR-V L has the best ride and comfort of any small SUV we tested. Maybe not the most advanced in style and looks, but it's bigger, and far more comfortable than the tuscon, or ford excape. So far with the ECCO system being used all the time, we are averaging over 31.5 miles per gallon. The only small nit pick is the size and location of the back up camera. For anyone under 5'8" it's hard to see to use it. Honda should rethink it's location.

Solid Car

The CR-V which we just purchased is performing very well in both city and highway driving situations. We love the interior space, the car handles well in conditions experienced to date. Wish the gas mileage were a little better, 25.8 seems to be the norm at this point, almost 26 mpg - where we used to get about 31 mpg with our Accord. Something to work on for Honda. Great dealership people!

I <3 my 2013 CRV - EXL and Straub Honda

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! 22-36 MILES TO THE GALLON, SO FAR. HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING DO A FINE JOB. BEAUTIFUL WHEN CLEAN, HOWEVER OPEN YOUR DOORS AND WIPE INTERIOR METAL TO AVOID EARLY RUST. CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT ACCELERATE WELL VIA STEERING WHEEL MECHANISM - BUT THAT CAN BE ALLEVIATED BY PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL, (DEFEATS PURPOSE OF STEERING WHEEL MECHANISM.) XM - DOESN'T NEED 1 AND 2 IF YOU HAVE ALL THE SAME CHANNELS AND SONGS. MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE PHONE - 1) IT ONLY HOLDS 20 NUMBERS 2) ANY ADDITIONAL NUMBERS HAVE TO BE DIALED VIA PHONE OR RADIO 3) OHIO AND WEST VIRGINIA LAWS REQUIRE HANDS FREE DEVICES 4) INABILITIY TO CALL LAST NUMBER DIALED IN OR RECALL INCOMING / OUTGOING CALLER 5) PHONE CALLS DROP EASILY/FADE IN AND OUT/REVERT BACK TO YOUR PHONE MID-CALL AND YOU HAVE TO TELL CALLER "WAIT WAIT" UNTIL IT RE-ENGAGES THROUGH THE CAR SPEAKER SYSTEM. LOVE THE MASS SPACE IN THE CONSOL AND FACTORY INSTALLED PHONE CONNECTION. LOVE THE PRIVACY COVER IN THE REAR AREA TO HIDE PURCHASES, MESS. (YET IT IS ROOMY ENOUGH TO FIT A ROUND THROW RUG AND DECORATIVE BASKETS TO CONTAIN YOUR ITEMS NEATLY.) LOVE THE EASY ACCESS TO FOLD DOWN SEATS, ALTHOUGH HAVEN'T TRIED IT OR USED IT YET. THIS CAR SPARKLES WHEN IT IS CLEAN. THE HORN IS A LITTLE AWKWARD - SOUNDS LIKE IT SHOULD BE ON A YUGO - HONDA ACCORD HORN IS A LITTLE MORE ROBUST - BUT IT IS CUTE FOR A WOMAN! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO EVERYONE !! MAKE SURE YOU DO YOU HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU GO IN TO THE DEALERSHIP, CHECK WEBSITES, PRICES, INCENTIVES AND REBATES, AND MAKE CERTAIN YOU DO A VIN NUMBER SEARCH ON YOUR VEHICLE PRIOR TO PURCHASE - THERE WERE SOME OLDER MODELS THAT HAD RECALLS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT USED CARS REMEMBER THAT LITTLE FOX WHO TALKS ABOUT CARS IS NOT A 100% GUARANTEE. DO YOU RESEARCH AND GET IT ALL IN WRITING!!! OH OH BY THE WAY, THE EXTENDED WARRANTIES THAT YOU CAN PURCHASE AS AN ADD ON - MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING THAT LABOR IS INCLUDED, AND READ THE FINE PRINT, IF THERE IS A LIMIT TO WHAT IS COVERED, (CEILING OF $2500) YOU NEED TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT WHAT YOU ARE PAYING EXTRA IS WORTH IT!! REALLY I LOVE MY CRV EXL AND MY SALESWOMAN AND SALES MANAGER WERE FANTASTIC - GO TO A PLACE THAT HAS A REPUTATION FOR TREATING YOU LIKE OR BETTER THAN FAMILY - ;O)
