It doesn't get more reliable
When I was growing up in the 70s the Volvo's were know as "boxy but safe" - and they were. Honda has taken up the mantle of reliability, which Volvo didn't have, and placed the emphasis on safety and great value for the dollar. It will never be confused with a Porsche but that isn't what attracts Honda and fellow travelers. What Honda does well it does exceptionally well. And what it doesn't, it doesn't bother to do at all. So if you want that reliable, safe, nicely styled, and great value for a host of driving situations - from in town to on the road, you'd be hard pressed to get better than the 2013 CR-V.

Very Dependable SUV
I leased a 2010 CRV LX and recently turned it in and bought a CRV EXL 2013. Honda has improved this SUV dramatically since 2010. The only two small complaints I have are on the leather upholstery. It's gathered at the seams and not smooth, which will probably stretch and pucker in time with normal use. Also Honda cheaped out on the tail pipe. It's a plain cheap black pipe extending slightly downward on the right tail end of the car. You would think for their top of the line CRV they would have put a chrome wrapped pipe, like all the other competitive SUV's in a similar market. Other than that its a fine machine!

Meets our needs
This is the second CRV we have bought new and we are very satisfied with it. We had our first road trip last weekend with 4 men and 4 golf bags in the car and got nearly 32 MPG with 30-40 miles already on the odometer reading 21.5 MPG when we started. The ride is not as soft as a luxury car, but not at all uncomfortable, and the back seat still has more leg room than larger cars or SUV's I've ridden in. The new tech stuff is pretty neat and at your finger tips on the steering wheel and the available Bluetooth is a plus. I got the factory tires replaced with Michelin Defenders and the ride and warranty is much better than for the originals (extra $ 300 well spent).

Some Issues with Battery
We bought the car in May 2012 and have generally enjoyed it. Takein it on a few road trips and now at 30,000 miles. The only reliabiity issue is that on occasion the car needs a jump start. We have never been able to get this resolved with the dealer, even after 2 "software updates" that I had to research on-line. The other disappointment is the navigation system, which is difficult to use. The bluetooth is also difficult to use but maybe we have not spent the hours "learning it" yet. It does not seem to like iphones. Otherwise the ride is good, mileage is 26+, and my wife feels safe in it. We got black AWD EX-L and the paint seems like it needs frequent waxing.

Second CR-V and I still love it!
I traded in my 2007 AWD CR-V for the 2013 model, and I am very happy with it! It drives beautifully, and I love the back-up camera and bluetooth. The new cargo cover is great, and a real improvement over my older model. My only complaint is that the back side windows make for a bit of a weird blind spot when you are trying to change lanes from left to right.

Still miss 2003 CRV
Greate value for the money. Honda dependability and quality is bullet proof. I bought the high end EX-L because I wanted heated seats, sun roof, and better stereo. The "better stereo" is a little disappointing. I miss all the "useful" storage compartments from my 2003 CRV such as "dash shelf" and drawer under passenger seat. The car rides and handles well but is a touch noisy. My complaints are minor as this is an excellent vehicle.

It is 3 weeks old
I am in love with my new Honda. It is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I am so proud of it and am really showing it off. .Only thing that is a little hard is opening back cargo door. It is a little awkward.
