So far best car I ever got.
I have no issues so far, I've been driving my car for 1 year and still like new. Fuel consumption is impressive and I'm saving a lot of money.

This vehicle is a HONDA! My 6th HONDA.
Perfect vehicle with great design and performance. This is the 6th Honda I have purchased over the past 25 years and the one prior to this is a 2003 ACCORD and still running like a new car.

Nice car
It’s a nice, reliable car. But the lane warning and other safety options should be standard equipment the engine should be more powerful. I have nothing more to add and it’s annoying to have to add unnecessary verbiage.

Love to drive my Car
I love to drive my Honda CRV. It could use more storage compartments and the rear seat belts are not comfortable, they need to have a height adjustment. Do not purchase your car from Auto Nation in Spokane Valley because they have terrible after market service and are dishonest!

Oil dilution, heat issues, engine problems
I purchased this vehicle in June 2018. It was back in the shop the first week because the collision avoidance system kept slamming on the brakes on the highway and nearly causing accidents. I was told they are aware of the issue but have no fix yet. January 3, 2019 I took it in for a mandatory software update. I lost the heat in my CRV that day and never got it back. Honda told me the vehicle was operating as designed and refused to tell me why I had great heat before, but after the update having no heat was operating as designed. 3 weeks later I started having horrible gasoline fumes into the cabin. Honda denied it, called me a liar. Next a few weeks later it had to be towed because the engine was rapping badly and of course, Honda said it wasnt, they claimed it was just fine even though it was over an inch over filled on the dip stick and reeking of gas. They told me that's normal and fine, and denied any odor of gasoline in the oil. They changed the oil and sent me on my way. 2 weeks later the oil was reeking of gas again and 3/4" over filled again. Took it back again, and they denied its a problem again. Insisting this is normal and said they were extending the warranty on "Some parts" of my vehicle engine but would not tell me what parts specifically. Google these issues, there are thousands who have gone thru what I have gone thru. If you buy one and have a problem with it, Honda will NOT help you. Go to Car Complaints Dot Com, they have labeled the 5th generation CRV as a clunker to avoid due to all the complaints to NHTSA. I got rid of mine, and 4 weeks later the engine blew on the new owner. Glad it didn't happen while I had it. I will never ever buy another Honda. Bad enough to have them break my CRV with a software update, but then to have to put up with being mistreated and verbally abused by Honda Corporate offices is just too much. Sickening what these greedy xxxx are doing to their loyal customers. Also check out the Honda CRV facebook page, covered with complaints from 5th gen owners.

Looks great, runs great, superb car
My 2018 Honda CRV- EXL is a great medium SUV. Under $40k, it has all the bells and whistles in a comfortable, sharp looking, well-equipped ride. Gas mileage is great and the turbo-charged engine also has an ECON function to make the gas mileage even better. I did weeks of research before choosing to buy my Honda CRV. I think I got the best car for a great price.

Should have shopped around
I thought I wanted a CRV after my lease with Ford was up but I should have taken my time to look for what I really wanted. It looked ok but after driving a top of the line Edge and getting used to all the great features, I started to notice how cheaply made the CRV actually is. First thing I noticed was it didn't come with a CD player, which I still like to use, the control knobs are flimsy, passenger seat lever gets stuck and it's difficult to slide the seat forward or backward. It doesn't have much power but it is good on gas. Just recently, the black panel between the front and back passenger side windows bubbled and seemed to have melted and when I took it to the dealer, I was told they have seen that problem before which occurs with the reflection of another car window or building gets too hot with the sun. I was told each panel would cost me $100 and was not covered by the warranty since it's not a manufacturer issue but that they would contact Honda to ask how they can resolve the problem. I feel they definitely should replace the two panels since obviously the parts are cheap and they fail to warn you at the time you purchase the vehicle, that it can potentially melt some of the parts if you park next to another car or building where the reflection of the sun can bounce off and damage the car. Seriously? How is someone supposed to avoid parking next to other cars or buildings?
