2009 Honda Fit consumer reviews

Reliable, great mileage and fun to drive. Served us really well and gave to daughter. Still looks great and trust she will get another 10 yrs easy.

I used to own a 2009 Honda Fit until I passed it on to my son. It was hard to part with it. I got great mileage, had a super roomy and comfortable interior, and 10 cup holders. When the seats were let down I could haul many things that have no business being put it a tiny car instead of a truck. I hauled lumber and plumbing supplies and on a few occasions during Football game trips to New Orleans I would sleep in it without any trouble. I always was very comfortable in regards to its reliability and never hesitated to strike out on long trips without hesitation. Other that a battery change I never has any issues or repairs. I miss that car. It was fun while I had her.

It's a great little car - fun to drive, runs well, and hasn't given me any problems. My only complaint is that there's a lot of road noise.

Love it! Amazing MPG, never gotten stuck in the snow! I'm passing it on to my daughter and just bought another one! Love these cars!

I drive this car every day to work, after my mother no longer used it, and I started commuting further. The car itself is pretty solid and definitely ?zippy?, and is perfect for local commuting <10 miles. Where it gets annoying is 1+ hour drives. Things rattle. Loud road noise. Uncomfortable and basic interior. If you get it for commuting to college/school/work, its perfect. Great car for first drivers as well.

great all around family vehicle, project hauler, good on fuel and reliable. Multi use tool is the word on this car. One minute you have 5 passengers and some cargo, the next you can haul all cargo in different configurations of the magic seat.

This car is an excellent car that has great gas mileage and did everything i needed. It has a lot of room in the back. It was the best car for 2009. The honda fit is very safe car and an excellent choice for anyone. I would recommend this car to anyone.

great car to go to work and back home when you can get over 35 miles per gallon why does it have to be over 100 characters

The 09 Honda Fit with 5 speed manual is very nice, way better than the 5 speed constant shift automatic! It has very nice power and really scoots along while delivering 42-43 mpg!

I love my little Honda Fit. The fold down seats are awesome for storing camping equipment or having room for a small piece of furniture. I love how everything handles on the vehicle and I haven't had any huge issues with it thus far. All my issues are minor - the driver seat is an uncomfortable position for my size (I'm 5'9") but perfect for my husband's size (he's 6'3"). I fix this by folding up a blanket and putting it behind my back. The vehicle is a bit bumpy and loud but you honestly get used to it. The amount of room in the back seat is fine when you have passengers but with a car seat for our infant, we weren't able to both sit up front since the passenger seat had to sit so far forward. This will obviously be fixed when our kid can front face. These issues are annoying but easy to fix and this is the least annoying vehicle I've owned! Though that doesn't say much since a lot of my vehicles were Saturns! :-/
