LX model not worth it

I went to dealerships and looked at many cars until i bought this one. When i walked to the honda dealer i liked this one and bought it.. I asked if these cars had nav system and moon roof and the salesman told me no....So i bought it for my wife anyway....then i found out that there is the EX model wich was closer to what i was looking for....so now that i've driven my LX i and the EX....the lx is not worth the money comparing to EX...it doesn't have cruise control, nav system stability control system..and the reason is not worth the money because the difference between the EX and LX money wise is not too big and having the extra things that the EX model has is well worth the money.Of course i was not the smart one for not reseaching but If you really want a nice Insight get the EX and forget the LX... LX is not as fun as the EX, when you drive a LX if feels that you're driving a cheap brand new ford focus.. I like the insight but i will trade it for a prius because it gets better gas milage and the 2010 is more powerful...insight is weak...i'm aware that it is a hybrid but the new prius has a lot more power and better features and it looks the same anyway.

GREAT CAR FOR LOCAL DRIVING

The insight is perfect for local driving. Acceleration for the local trips is more than adequate. Passing and highway merging speed are clearly below average. Rear visibility is restricted. Must be very careful when changing lanes. Seats are firm and comfortable and overall design is excellent. Averaging about 43 mpg with ac on all the time.

A rare pleasure

Purchased the car three days ago. Flawless finish, peppy engine, many usefull features. However, surprised it does not have automatic headlights. Drives rather smoothly, but acceleration off the line you are reminded of a golf cart. Economy is very good. Smooth on the highway, with sufficient passing power. The interior is comfortable, but I'd like a larger storage armrest. Navigation system is fun and has a lot of features. iPod connection allows me to use my large music library with ease.

Great Economy Car

I purchased this vehicle after driving the dealer's demo for an hour. This vehicle has a lot of features. You have to remember that this is an economy car and not a sports car. The craftsmanship in this vehicle is great . Everything fits together perfectly. The vehicle provides feed back on your driving efficiencies by the changing background behind the speedometer and from the message display. This will allow you to get over 46 mpg in the city. If you use the eco mode you should get over 50 mpg. I am getting 46 mpg with only 150 miles on the car. I expect it to go up when the engine breaks in like in other Hondas.

Most reliable &value for money car i've ever owned

I bought it 2 days after it hit the market and it gives me 46 combined mpg. It rides really well and much more powerful than I thought. Its a real value for money if you put alot of miles on your vehicle.

2010 Honda Insight LX

My 85 year old mother just bought one today. She loves it and the features are so much fun. She will drive it to Church and the Dr's, I will borrow it A LOT!! Very comfortable, great looking, quiet inside. A sweet car, can't wait to see how it performs over time.
