2006 Honda Odyssey consumer reviews

after owning a 03 Pontiac Montana and pouring money into it for 9 months, i decided it was time to trade it in. after researching the Honda Odyssey, i went with that, even though it was going to be a stretch financially. it is SO worth it! there is enough space to put 3 booster seats AND two car seats and still have room for all their stuff and other passengers. everyone has plenty of room and doesn't complain!

This is my 2nd Honda Odyssey. I have 2 new grandchildren and would not own any other vehicle. My kids with kids borrow it all the time!

I bought this 2006 Odyssey after I totaled my 206 Odyssey (in a heavy rain, late at night, going 60 I hit an unoccupied, disabled car involved in an accident some 10 minutes before I got there). I walked away uninjured but for a small burn and scrape on my left hand. If Honda can do this once, it can do it again. Many terrific features: 3 storage compartments in the front besides the glove box, satellite radio ready (I added an XM radio and a device for playing an iPod through the radio for about $300), comfortable seats, heated side mirrors, good gas mileage (on the highway I get 21-24 mpg), and more.

hi my name is ryan this is the van that my parents loved ever since I was born so we bot a 06 honda odyssey lx it was the best vanever since my mom and dad bot it and I coudnt travel in any car than this van because it is roomy but one thing i dont like is that they dont have a 3rd seat in the second row like the sieanna but overall the van is the best but we mite sell it because my mom wants a 2011 toyota sieanna but this van has all the things you mite want and you mite not want but overall it is a good van and I recommend this van but you shoudnt buy the lx one you should buy the 2010 exl version

The Odyssey has been highly recommended, and I have to agree. Although not as soft a ride as it's next closest competitor, it's on the road manners are incomparable for a minivan. This van can hold the road like no other. Very sedan like in it's ride, with an incredible turning radius, and I mean incredible for a vehicle of this size. The high end touring model would do well offering some additonal option packages, ie.. softer leather, woodgrains (avail as dealer add-on), and higher end tech goodies (laser cruise, power folding rear seats). And additional tire wheel pkgs (esp for touring pax setups). Mileage figures are similar to competiton, although have had several trips in the low 30's on the highway, conversely also have had city figures in the low teens. Could be quieter, bothersome whistle on the highway (there's a TSB for that) and also a noisy power door (TSB for that too). Love this car othewise!!!

I love the Honday Odyssey!! It drives beautifully is quick and very responsive. Great handling drives like a car! It fits everything and everybody! We just took it on our first family vacation there was enough cargo room all our stuff without folding down the third row. Seats are sooo comfortable, tons of storage just beautiful in every way, I love it the kids love it!!!
