Not happy with Odyssey

Honda has to improve the quality of this car. We have had too many service dept. trips. Bad transmision problems. Delays and time drains.

Too Bad It Has to Have Some Flaws

Bought a 2010 Odyssey EX two months ago. Love the car, it is very comfy and handles tight like a crossover, but have to say that a friend's warning was correct--the transmission is jerky, especially when jumping between "ECO" and non-ECO mode. Rather distressing when cruising on the highway, and I only have 1200 miles on it. While I appreciate the 90-day XM radio trial, I prefer the Sirius channel line up, and the radio system itself is really poorly designed for surfing the XM channels. Channel to channel one must actually reach to the right of the console and turn a fake dial with poor tactile feedback, and there is a lag before the channel name comes on the display, making surfing very painful. I will almost certainly let the XM lapse.

New Owner 2010 Odyssey

I spent about 2 months reviewing vehicles to replace a 2000 Nissan Quest. We're at a different stage of life now and decided that we can afford to pay a little extra to get a vehicle that's as comfortable and feature packed as it is functional. While some other mini-vans do have rear entertainment or seating configuration options that might have been appealing, the overall package received with the Odyssey made it the hands down winner. We've owned the vehicle for only two months now, but have taken it on a long road trip and found it to handle better than expected (city and highway), entertaining for the kids, more room that I ever expected, and actually fun to drive. The gas mileage is not the bext in class, but definitely not something that keeps me from considering it a great value. We're very pleasantly surprised with it.
