Great Vehicle

Had the new Oddyssey EX-L for about 3 months (so I can't speak to reliability yet.) but overall we have been really happy with it. Lots of space and flexibility for the kids (we traded a Traverse) and it drives really nice (1 1200 mile trip already). Fuel mileage has been acceptable, but not as high as I expected (got about 22 on the trip, fully loaded with luggage; 19 in town running kids around). I would buy it again without a second thought.

3rd Odyssey owned

Love everything about the car except the headlights at dim. It is like a curtain being drawn and is really bad when going down hill. Gas milage on a trip is very good.

Great Family Car

Did a lot of research btw this and the Sienna. Both are great cars so at the end of the day it is the one that appeals to each purchaser. Some small changes that I would recommend for the Honda - a manual shift on the auto gear box. A no - key start option and roof racks should be included for the price. All in all a great van, which I love driving, as does my family.

Second minivan, fourth Honda

I have found all aspects of my EX-L, purchased 1 month ago, to have met and exceeded my expectations. Great ride with less noise than previous Honda vehicles. My only complaint is the lack of body side molding which I expected in this price range Honda. Impressive materials used in construction add to the appearance. Very flexible interior configuration available for owners who may need adjust for their specific needs.

DO NOT BUY 2012 ODYSSEY UNTIL RECALL IS INITIATED!

I purchased my 2012 Honda Odyssey on Jan. 2, 2012. Van has a vibration that Honda is aware of as many consumers have complained about only to be told by the dealerships that they are waiting for a fix from Honda. Unacceptable. I have a van with 500 miles on it and it is defective. I would not recommend this van until a fix has been established.

Luxury car disguised as a minivan

Everything about this Odyssey belongs in a luxury automobile. In fact, my husband who drives a mercedes SUV agrees that my odyssey has a smoother ride, more comfortable seating, and the technology is top-notch. I love the navigation and back-up camera system, and the kids enjoy being able to bring along several of their friends. Engine is powerful and manages my uphill commute very well. Very satisfied with this car and will drive it for long after the kids have grown out of it.

Best Family Vehicle

This van is by far the best family vehicle! I have the EX-L with DVD package and it's so comfortable for long trips. We travel a lot to see family and the amount of room available in this van is endless. Must have vehicle if your looking for room, comfort, excellent ride and family friendly!!

The Perfect Vehicle

I simply adore my Honda Odyssey. I have had Dodge Grand Caravans, but really didn't like their new styling. Interior and exterior on the caravan was kind of blah. A friend of mine convinced me to look at the Odyssey. Holy cow! I was so impressed. I got the level below the touring model. I wanted leather and the navigation system, but didn't want the tv/DVD entertainment system. I've had it for a little over two months, and am loving the difference in gas mileage as well. Their variable cylinder system is amazing. We took a trip to Charleston, SC from Raleigh, NC and were on the way back before we had to stop and get gas. I think we literally got 500 miles out of that one tank of gas. I am totally loving my new van!

Lov'in this van... never thought I'd say that

The Odyssey is not cheap, but is really nice as an all around family vehicle. We have 3 kids and this van is perfect. The amenities are very nice (EX-L) model, the performance is sufficient (have never been compelled to "push it" in a mini-van), and it has a good look both in and out. I have zero buyers remorse with this purchase - glad I decided on buying the new model v. a pre-2011, as the upgrades are material.
