2012 Honda Odyssey consumer reviews

Have had this van for 3 months and love it....felt the Toyota Sienna handled a bit better (felt like driving a car whereas the Odyssey was more like an SUV). Other than that...this is an awesome minivan, and I prefer it over the Sienna in all other features

Was confused with bells and whistles when I first got the car. Still not sure I know how to operate the radio. Very dissapoiinted that the EXL which is supposed to be top of the line does not have back up alarms as a standard item. Cargo carriers the same and side moldings. Would seem top of the line would have all options found on cars of simular costs. When the rear sears are folded down the floor is humped up as they do not fold flat. Had a 2002 Pontiac Montana before I bought this and that was a better car.

Fist of all my wife and I were both people who said we would never own a minivan, but after we were married and had 2 kids each, our family became 4 kids and 3 dogs....time to get a minivan. We owned a 2007 and used it for long trips. We loved the 2007, but the new model is vastly improved. It is the only minivan that actually looks great. Our old one was comfy, but this one drives so much quieter and the variable cam engine that turns off cyclinders to save gas is much smoother on the highway. does not feel like it is changing gears when it kicks in. Honda must have had families live in them when designing them since it seems like everything you could need is right there and in the perfect place. Had upscale suv's for the last 12 years and enjoy driving this so much better than the "buses". All around, I do not know of anything better to cruise around in if you have a pack of little people or lots of stuff.

We shopped for 4 months, and decided on the Odyssey. It is such flexible space, very comfortable inside and handles beautifully -- this is the minivan I wanted to drive. The driver's seat is extremely comfortable and I can adjust the armrest to right where I need it. Only downside so far, typical Honda road noise. But the second I turn on the radio or music I don't hear any road noise at all, and I have been loving the free XM trial. I also like the way the car allows me to answer the phone if I want to (bluetooth) , so no worries about missing a call you might need to take. My teens are very happy in the second row (or the back). I will just hope this car stays this great for the long haul! The only reason I gave the interior a 4, is because I secretly wanted a wood steering wheel and trim like the Lexus -- otherwise the interior is beautiful.

the exterior is the best that honda have made in the odyssey so i like it it does not have a lot of road noise so i like cars like that and but there priceing is bad enough that like other minivans are the same but i got the cheapest the LX it is 28,000 it is a bad price for the lowest model but i needed a minivan really bad so i got the odyssey because i have heard people saying it is the best minivan in the world and so now i know what they are taling about.
