Good So Far
I purchased the Honda Pilot Touring. So far I love the ride and comfort. We've taken it on a couple of long trips. We like the XM radio, Hands Free Link, and are getting use to the GPS. I was very disappointed in the GPS, and wished it had more functions and was cheaper to update. Gas milage is mediocre, but I expected that. It's what we wanted and we are pleased

i need sumthin that does it all
i don't know... i can see the foam used for noise insulation when i open the door. it's ugly... i like the pilot but it may not be the best for the money. i got a good price on it so i bought it. i got 5K off the sticker price. engine seems well made. overall the vehicle seems a little delicate in the interior. the rubber seals seem delicate compared with previous suv's i've had. it does drive good though. very smooth. i bought an exl. the 4wd sure is unique depending on how you want to look at it.

good but not perfect EXL 4WD
- I can't believe the Pilot is one of Honda's most expensive models and IT DOESN'T COME WITH THIRD ROW FLOOR MATS! That's outrageous. It's the principle of the matter. - Further, I have the EXL and I had to pay $250 for the crossbars to be added on the roof rack. I've bought SUV's from Ford and Chevy and when you buy their high end model it comes with crossbars! - The steering is slightly heavy on the Pilot. - White back lit gauges makes night driving a little hard on the eyes when looking at low lit areas while driving. - Other than that it's smooth, drives very well. I'm getting 17 mpg in the city. I was hoping it would do better. I drive very conservatively so I don't understand why it's not at 19 mpg in the city. I have a large bike rack and it fit well with 4 bikes on the back. I actually like the boxy, rugged styling because it separates the Pilot from the crossovers which I don't care for. I like the Pilot a lot. I'm not sure I'd buy it again if I had to do it over again because the above is so irritating to me. The seats are comfortable in the Pilot so I look forward to taking some long trips next summer.

Flawless !
My wife & I have owned over 10 different cars over the years. We know quality when we see it, so we decided to trade in our Chevy Tahoe for the 2010 Pilot LX. The Pilot is hands down a better vehicle compared to the Tahoe. Better gas mileage, better handling, roomier interior, better looking (in my opinion), no mechanical issues and less expensive to purchase new. The third row seats are regular sized seats, not just jump seats for kids. Full size adults can be comfy sitting in the 3rd row, which really surprized us. A huge plus is that you can fold the 3rd row seats down into the floor when you're not using them. We had to detach and actually remove the 3rd row seats in the Chevy Tahoe to get them out of the way... I've driven the Pilot over 30,000 miles so far and not one problem, not one squeak. This vehicle is simply superb. I keep trying to find things wrong with it and just can't. The interior is unbelievebably roomy and designed very well. Every inch of the cabin is well lit with the dome lights. The Pilot even has air vents for every row, yes even the 3rd row seats gets air vents and cup holders, imagine that! The acceleration is more than sufficient with it's fuel efficient V6 which also has an "eco" mode which only uses 3 cylinders when you don't need to use all 6. Great use of technology by Honda. The only thing you'll need is a back up camera or sensor as with any SUV, since they're long and sometimes challenging to guage your distance from whatever is behind you. Once you get used to it's perimeters, you're fine. A+ vehicle Honda! Keep up the phenomenal work!! Oh yeah, no recalls and issues unlike Toyota.

Great vehicle
I have now had my Pilot for three months. It is great. Not a single trip to the dealership to get things fixed like I did with the GM and Ford cars. Everything is perfect with this car except for the slight hesitation that it has when it goes in and out of the economy gas mode. Went to a game this weekend and had the 4, 8, and 12 year old boys in the back row; daughters car seat and two adults in the middle, and two adults in the front. All of us were surprisingly comfortable. It truly is an amazing vehicle. Is it ok to be in love with your car?

Nice vehicle and it it a HONDA
I do see that there is some corner cutting taking place and I am dissapointed that the leather seats have felt and not leather on the sides next to the front console. U can't get this past me and I don't like it. But what can I do? Also the owner's manual is in a paper like "green" bag type booklet. CHEEZY Pretty Cheezy...This vehicle is way too expensive for Honda to cut corners like this.

Very reliable, comfortable, and GAS saver
We've had this vehicle for about a year, and we love it. The performance is great, it seats 8 passengers, has room, it's great on gas and very stylish. We love our Honda Pilot.

OUR PILOTS
Our first Pilot was a 2009 Touring & loved it, put 20000 miles on the first year & did nothing but change oil, not even a sqeak ! Got a really good deal so traded for a 2010 Touring, proving that resale value is there. We put 31000 miles on the 2010(we live in the fly over zone) again without even a sqeak. At last oil change, salesman said he could trade for about the same as last time even though we had 10000 more miles, so now have a 2011. These vehicles are loaded with features & they perform flawlessly, best value I have ever had for the money in a vehicle

Love my new Pilot
We owned a 2005 Pilot and felt it was time to trade in for the 2011 Pilot. We loved out 2005 and the 2011 has some added features we are enjoying. The heated leather seats, electric positioning on both front seats, review camera and 6 CD changer are all new features on our 2011. It is very quiet, smooth ride, and handles very nice. There is plenty of leg room in the front and more leg room in the second row seat than in our 2005. I'm 5'8'' tall and am very comfortable when I have to ride in the back. The second row seats are also comfortable. The second row also has a temperature control which is wonderful. The only thing I noticed is the air comes out the bottom of the console so packages can't be in the way. I did like the 2005 having the air come out the top of the console. Love all the cubbies to store things in. We have traveled in our 2005 with 5 adults and plenty of room for all the luggage. I know we will have the same with the 2011. The hatch back also has a window that opens which is new for us and will see if I really use it or not. I feel safer knowing we have air bags on the sides as well as the front. It sets a little higher than our 2005 which is ok for me but my shorter mom has a little trouble getting in. Looking forward to our trip this summer except for the gas prices. We get around 22 mpg on the highway which is not bad but wish it were better. Love the economy engine that doesn't use all cylinders unless needed which helps save gas. I am really enjoying my Pilot. Second one and not disapppointed at all.
