2018 Honda Pilot consumer reviews

Overall this vehicle has been good to us. There are many pros, Honda has always been reliable, LED headlights look and work great, many more. The cons , for me is the infotainment system can be quirky, by that I mean sometimes with apple-play they just may not connect and I gave an average rating for performance because when taking off from a complete stop, this SUV can't get out of its way. So if you're in a rush or trying to "thread the needle" by pulling into traffic, you will need to wait. Otherwise this is a great SUV.

Never a single issue! Honda Quality at its finest! At least it has been! If not moving back to Canada. Would simply not be available

It has plenty of leg room front and back. It has 3 point seat belts in all rows. Isn’t family loves it. The side camera made it easy to look at when turning on my blind spot side.

This pilot is a beauty and has my heart! The inside is so comfy. So many safety things on this vehicle. I feel I can trust this vehicle 100% with myself and my kids. We feel very safe riding in this pilot.

While I was reluctant to go from a Honda Fit (compact) to Pilot, I am very glad I did! The Pilot handles everything I-25 can throw at me, from snowstorms in May to deluge of rain in August, and everything in between. It sits high enough to feel comfortable in tight traffic situations. Good gas mileage for its engine size. Great all-around vehicle!!

You can get a grandchild in and out of the third row seat in under 5 seconds in the car line at school pickup. That was my most important criteria. That and I could get in and out of the third row.

We love our Pilot it’s great to drive. The interior is very stylish and comfortable. We only wish the passenger seat would go back further

This car is very comfortable, has space for traveling, handles well, great safety features, for size of vehicle gets great gas mileage, and performs well.

Honda Pilot is garbage. Here's why. First mechanical. The transmission is slow to engage when shifting. I have to wait 3 seconds before it actually wants to go in drive or reverse. Second road noise. Noisiest car I've ever been in, and it's not just the tires. Rear suspension sounds like someone is beating a bass drum every time I go over even the smallest bump. Road noise on highway is so loud that you can't hear an audio book on the stereo unless the volume is turned up super high. Which brings me to the stereo. This is absolutely,hands down, the worst stereo in any car since 1986. Google it. The sound is terrible. The system is so bad there's a class action suit against Honda. Finally, then interior quality is sub par. I'm used to a Toyota. We traded in a Sienna to get the Pilot. The I can feel the metal brace in the arm rest. It's that bad. The range of adjustment in the seat is minimal. The lumbar support might as well be non existent. Quite honestly this car doesn't have any rewarding points. Save your money and get a Toyota or Acura. Or get something cheaper. Hard pass on any future Honda for me.

The car meets all my and my families needs. Nice to have such an updated beautiful vehicle. I never would have imagined driving such a practical and safe vehicle
