Plenty of room and good resale value. Honda has always been very reliable. Very pleased with vehicle so far. Would buy a Honda again when replacing

Not my 2006 pilot

Don’t get 9 speed tranny ,it’s a pain to drive. 3000 miles & drivers window seal is not aligned. Emergency brake was not right & needed to be adjusted

Honda removed the rear glass hatch

The vehicle has all nice features but they got rid of the very useful openable rear glass in 2016 re-design. I owned Toyota highlander which still has rear window openable feature. I used it everyday like daily grocery shopping and on trips. You don't need to open the whole back door for grabbing a small item. Also it was very helpful to load/unload without opening my garage door. Moreover you get more space by filing the cargo through the hatch window when the rear door is closed. If I ever sell/trade my pilot, this would be the only reason.

1st time Honda Pilot Owner (2019 Honda Pilot EX-L)

Well, I've owned this vehicle for less then a month so everything is great so far. It has a lot of space for the family. We transitioned from a Honda Odyssey to the Pilot, essentially to get the AWD without compromising the space we need. I've owned three brand new vehicles, all Hondas, basically for the reliability of the vehicle. So, I hope it keeps up with their standards. Most of these SUVS look alike in this class but the Honda seems to have a bit more room, although others are getting bigger as well. The vehicle has a great ride and handling. It's tech screen is superb and all the options in this years model are standard as far as Honda sensing. It's pretty cool. Again, all these vehicles are similar to some degree as they copycat from each other. I added aftermarket splash guards, running boards, window rain guards, low profile aeroskin style bug/rock deflector, WeatherTech floor mats, and painted by brake calibers yesterday (blue)! Got to trick it out a bit and I'm still going. :) I will update later if need be.

Liked It, didn't fit well.

I really liked this vehicle and might have bought it except for two things: 1.) limited left leg room up front and 2.) a funky adjustable arm rest. I am a long-legged guy and felt that the left foot pad on the driver's side was a little too close. Additionally, whereas in my past cars there was a space between the foot rest and the brake pedal where I could extend my (often achy) left leg, there was no such space in the Pilot. Thus, I could not offset the problem of the too-close foot rest. Also, the armrest was annoying in that it was awkward to reach and if you adjusted it wrongly you had to start over again since it is ratchet style. Also, for me, it was too small and too close to the body. I like to be able to spread out when I drive. Since I am a frequent distance driver, these are, unfortunately, dis-qualifiers for me. Otherwise, it is a very nice car with great cabin storage.
