2008 Hummer H3 consumer reviews

Awesomeness! Wanted one for a long time. Finally picked up an Alpha last week. LOVE it. Even at 10 years old and 110K on it. Performance (w/ the V8). Feels rugged and safe. Much more comfortable hauling my 8 year old around. I have owned Wranglers and my lil Bro has a new Unlimited, Jeeps are awesome in their own right, however, the comfort and ride of this H3 is much better. When I have to get to work I have to get to work... no excuses, the Wrangler always carried the day. I believe this H3 Alpha will, as well, in a much more comfortable manner. Safe driving!!!

I Bought it new, it did OK on the test drive around town. Once I owned it & tried to get on the highway, I wanted to return it. These things are SLOW. Trying to drive in the mountains I was being passed by semis. It couldn't even do 55mph.

This vehicle is a must have especially if you live somewhere were the weather constantly changes . This little beast will get you and your family to your destination safe and sound . The interior is comfortable .

This vehicle is spacious and beyond the feel of a truck. I just Love everything about it. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I like the giddy up of this truck too!

On October 27th I visited them to look at the BMW wagon. Not only was everyone that I spoke with very pleasant and informative but I never left pressured to buy. I test drove 3 different vehicles and found that one that suited me the best. I just wanted to really brag on Eric. He went over our payments with us and helped us get financed. Thanks Eric!!

This is a beautiful SUV, very comfortable, luxurious, gas economic, all leather, navigation system, great sound system, is just an awesome Hummer H3X

This was my favorite car I've ever owned. There was the perfect amount of space, luxury interior and exterior, great performance in all weather. This car drove great and all passengers road comfortable on long and short trips. I lived in both the suburbs and the mountains when driving this car. Handled beautifully in the snow and on the mountain terrains. I drove it off roading often. Never a problem with the handling or towing.

big and rugged, great to drive, easy to get in and out of, lots of room front and back, love the dash lay out and the Sirius/xm radio with hands free phone is best ever

This is my 2nd H3 (Base Model), same year, color, and powertrain, w/96K miles on it. Without a maintenance history, I went right through it, including new stock highway tires. I've been getting over 21 mpg highway, and over 17 city, w/the A/C on full, here in Southern California. It has the i5 engine w/the rare 5 spd. manual transmission.

Purchased my 2008 H3 Alpha Hummer Used in 2010 with 10,000 miles on it and sold it last week with 93,000 miles. Never had one issue with the Hummer the entire time I owned it. Was an excellent vehicle for any activity I presented it with. Was very happy I upgraded to the H3 Alpha Luxury Package with the V8 engine providing a significant improvement over the standard H3. The only criticism I have about the Hummer is something I knew about going in, poor gas mileage. Overall, however, I give the H3 Hummer Alpha 5 out of 5 stars.
