1st American vehicle that i’ve ow In over 20 years

Love the styling and comfort. But we had to fix a few problems that we found out are inherent to the Hummers. We cleaned out the sunroof rain vents... not easy! The GMC Passlick theft deterrent system is flawed but many fixes found on YouTube. Evidently all Passlock Systems in any GMC vehicle is flawed, not just Hummer. It needs a recall...

Hummers like lots of attention

Like it a lot. Not everyone owns a hummer. Visibility is a known problem. Sun roofs are known to leak and haven't addressed that yet, Haven't had the car long so will see what I think in a year or so.

WORST MOTOR EVER MADE!

When we bought it we loved it, But in a short time it started to have problems. RADIATOR failed started running hot, Then the AC switches failed had to go to a dealership to get it fixed that was a nightmare by it self. Now with 89,000 miles on it the motor failed threw a rod. THE REPAIR WAS GOING TO COST ANY WHERE FROM $3,500 TO $5,000 PLUS. All come to the worst motor ever made. I've had a Nissan with close to 200,000 miles no problems close to this GMC.

Best vehicle I've ever owned (bought new in 2008)

Never had an issue in over 10 years and 130,000 miles. And it will never go out of style. Last, note. 20 MPG. For you eco people.

Most reliable car you will ever own.

Great Suspension Package. This car meets all my needs in comfort. It has plenty legroom front and back. Ride in luxury. Beautiful color inside and out.

Reliable and unique

I have owned mine for 5 years and it has been extremely reliable. Sunroof is oversized and amazing. Powers through all types of bad weather. I love the stance and believe the Alpha is a future collectible. Don't expect great gas mileage (it's a Hummer) and cargo space is average. Power is excellent with the V8 and you can expand on that without spending a fortune. Parts are plentiful and cheap. For me it does everything I want it to and it's got such rugged good looks IMO.

Power & terrible mpg all in one!

Impractical: gas guzzler, drives like a dream but also a tank. Comfy interior...no backup camera, and windshield wipers are so so. Wonderful for weekend driving.

Luxury and fun in one!

Will go anywhere and the best trip we had so far was driving on the beach in the Outer Banks with the sunroof open and the passengers hanging out the top...best time!
