RIDE

I BOUGHT A 2010 ELANTRA SE AND THE COMPLIANT I HAVE IS THE RIDE. ON SMOOTH ROADS THE CAR RIDES WELL. ON UNEVEN, BUMPY ROADS THE CAR BOUNCES EXCESSIVELY AND IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO DRIVE. I CAN'T BELIEVE HYUNDAI WOULD DESIGN A CAR LIKE THIS OR AT LEAST TEST DRIVE IT ON THE TYPE OF ROADS MOST OF US HAVE TO DRIVE ON.

I love this car

Got this car in December 2009 (one year ago) and I absolutely love it. The ESC/traction control is great in the snow, and it's definitely a little powerhouse for what it is. I feel completely safe. The trunk is huge. The sunroof/heated seats package is amazing. Only minor problem is the heat that comes out the bottom (feet) vents isn't very strong. Otherwise I love everything about this car and I would definitely purchase a Hyundai again.

loadeed spring

Wow, test drove the GLS elantra and really liked the ride and amount of room in the interior. Preformace seemed so so for this class vehicle but liked the price. Then saw a SE elantra on the lot and really liked all the extra's but did just a short test drive. Big mistake, the SE has this so called sport suspension that makes it ride like your on a loaded spring. Every bump on the Highway turns into three or four bounces and sometimes this can be very disorienting with multiple bumps. Dealer says that just the way the car is made. Should not have to drive a car that makes you sick!!! I'll never buy a hyundia again if company does not fess-up to this problem. I can't believe that I'm the only one out that is not drinking the Hyundai KoolAid!

Good Car =]

I just bought my 2010 Hyundai and I love it. It dries great very smooth.. Love the ipod connect and the satellite radio. The only thing I do not like about the car is that mine doesnt have the volume controls on the stearing wheel other than that it is a great car!

$99/month Lease Cannot Be Beat!

Even the title guy at the dealership was impressed with cost. The lease deal is only good for the Elanta Blue model, which does not have air or stereo and only comes in 5 speed. I live in the mountains, so the air isn't a necessity for me. I purchased a 12V power converter ($20) with a USB and power outlet, so I plug in speakers ($40)and my MP3, so the stereo is no problem either. As for the 5 speed, well that's the only way to drive! I traded up from a 1994 Mazda Protege 5 speed that my husband and I combined beat into the ground. It literally fell apart. We needed another little zoom zoom car that would get us through mountain roads and scenic drives. The new Mazdas seem a bit overpriced for added bells and whistles. I wanted something straight forward and comfortable. The Huyndai Elantra handles the curves on the mountain roads wonderfully. The gas mileage is amazing. It is very comfortable as well - front seats are roomy, and the heater (which, now that it is winter, DOES mean a lot to me) cranks up automatically in the mornings. So far I haven't tested the tires on snow, but on ice the car handled very well. I feel completely safe with the surround air bags, and low profile. There's a ton of storage space in the front compartment, and one of the back seats fully reclines to allow for space to carry long items from the hardware store in the trunk. I never expected to get such a nice ride for less than a two-hundred bucks, let alone a hundred. If you are looking for a good deal that is safe and gas-wise, this is a deal that can't be beat!

2010 Hyundai Elantra Outstanding Value

While this car is not a luxury class vehicle, it comes with a very rich array of features in the standard package including cruise control, CD, USB adapter for Ipod or flash MP3 player, bluetooth cell phone interface for hands free, and others. Car is surprisingly roomy, one of the most peppy 4 cylinder engines that can consistently get you 35 mpg. The warantee and service offering with oil changes is untouchable. I bought mine because of high mileage, but they even have a lease now for under $100/month. Most people pay more than that for their cell phones or cable. I can easily see myself in this car for the next 10 years.

Da da da da da Im lovin it

I just bought this car yesterday, and after being really unsure about even test driving it I was totally sold on it. It has all the features I need and more on top. I just needed a basic car, after test driving a Mazda 3 I reluctantly tried this, WAYYY better than the Mazda, and loads more options for only a few hundred more on the price tag. It has great handling is very smooth, I bought a manual as thats what I prefer. So quiet and very roomy in back as well as front. I would definately reccomend this car to anyone who wants a good deal with an excellent warranty. I used to say if something is too good to be true it usually is, not in this case. Im loving it!

Elantra

I choose the Elantra after doing a comparison to a Civic. The door side pockets are solid molded. There is a 10 year warranty. More room in the back. I love my new car. Just be careful because the car alarm will go off if the inside hood adjustment is not fixed.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

I purchased an Elantra (2010) yesterday so not a lot of drive time with this review, but I do believe this might just be the best car for the money out there. Seat comfort is nice! Tons better than my former car, a 2008 chevrolet cobalt. Like the blue color for interior lighting and you can make it so bright if you wish. The A/C works very well and the stereo is made to go soooo loud its unreal. I would suggest to anyone this car.... negociate the price though. Sticker on mine was 17,700. I paid 14,800.
