Love my Elantra

I love this car. Bought it in October so it's been a couple of months. Love the interior design, the heated seats (I have the Limited version), the sunroof, the leather interior. Appointments and styling make it seem much more expensive. Best car ever for the money. My only dislike? Not quite used to the low profile tires yet, but getting there. Incredible gas mileage and great digital instrument panel and sound system, including bluetooth. Love it!

Sweet Cherry Chariot

I love my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. For the price I have the bells and whistles of most of the luxury cars on the market. I am especially pleased with the gas mileage. 33 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the hwy. It's a sturdy, smooth, quiet ride for a car its size.

Best First New Car

I am very blessed to have purchased a great car as the Hyundai Elantra. It looks great and handles very well. I have mostly owned SUVs due to the size of my family, but now I was able to "downsize". It is very roomy inside although I have to get used to the blindspots that I didnt have in the SUVs. The gas mileage is awesome ($36.00 to fill up!). I am very happy with my decision. Great car for the money!

So far I love it!

I haven't driven it 2000 miles yet, but so far I am very happy with the car. Due to the interior size and setup, it really feels like a much larger car. No complaints yet...except that so far I am getting no more than 24 mpg, as I have mainly been using it for short runs off the highway.

Couldn't believe it, but its better than our 2008

Nicely styled, fuel-effiecient, good interior design. Hard to find at the time, but worth it. Replaced a 2008 model hit by an uninsured driver, and is better yet! Handles well and has great safety features: stability control, economy drive mode, all-round air bags, etc.

2012 Elantra

Just purchased the 2012 Elantra Limited after reviewing the literature on many compacts and test driving a variety of cars. All in all I like the car but have to admit that I am just a tad disappointed with two items that potential purchasers should be aware of... #1. the car does not come with a spare tire at all. There is an aerosolized rubber patching material that evidently works for small issues such as a puncture but certainly not for a tear in the tire. This may not represent an issue for most buyers but it did for me so I ordered the spare and jack package at an additional $235.00. I think that buyers should be aware of this prior to entering into a deal with the dealership. In addition, after the purchase I asked for a the maintanence schedule and cost of the maintenance.. much to my surprise the cost was very high!! I do believe that the maintenance costs reduce any savings that would ordinarily be obtained by the better gas mileage. I actually went to another dealership to see if the dealership I purchased my car from might be an outlier of sorts and it certainly turned out not to be. The second dealership charged more for the same services. I certainly hope that I am satisfied with the quality of the car for the long run as only time will tell. Although I completed the performance and reliability indicators on this survey, I only did so b/c it would not be accepted without those fields completed. Since I literally purchased the car yesterday, I cannot answer those questions reliably at this time.

Elantra Limited Review

I can't say enough about this car. Actually gets 45 mpg on the highway. I just love the sporty look, the heated seats, Bluetooth technology and the sun/moon roof.

Impressed with first Hyundai

This was my first new car purchase and I am very impressed with the Elantra. After a lot of research and test drives I was not able to find a finer compact car than the Elantra. It has a great combination of interior and exterior styling, loads of features, and superb gas mileage. It is not a sports car by any means, but for a 1.8L 4-cyl it has plenty of pep for the daily driver. It handles very well in all weather and has a surprisingly quiet ride for a compact car. After two months of driving, I am still impressed and I still look forward to driving this vehicle.

First time Hyundai owner

Never could quite get 29 mpg in City driving, always hovered around 26-27 which is still very good but not as advertised. Great styling, very comfortable, interior looks good, very much enjoy the added extras like blue tooth and sirius xm. Lots of cup holders. Performance as good as can be expected, engine is whiny when revved but it is an economy car. Overall very happy with it
