Great nimble and fast sports car!
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe hugs the road and handles extremely well. It's fast and powerful 2.0T with 6 speed auto transmission is responsive and quick ! Fast off the line the engine powers you up a hill while accelerating without much effort. Truly exhilarating to drive, and fun!
Genesis baby!!!!
Most Reliable Car I've Owned. just don't like the out of car key options its very very very powerful. and rides like a dream. i'd like more options with the key fob to control more stuff on vehicle.
Luxury for thousands less!
Beautiful automobile interior and exterior the 4.6 model is awesome Tau V8 333 lb feet of torque 375 HP on regular gas and 385 on premium unleaded. Reliability is awesome I have 53,000 miles on mine not one issue, I have been reading Hyundai Forums with people stating they have over 200k miles on their Genesis 4.6 with regular maintenance. 6 disk CD DVD changer over 500 Watts of sound 17 speaker from Lexicon, the same brand of system that's in the Rolls Royce Phantom. Ride is amazing, fast and a cruiser just eats up the miles on the road. Love the 4.6 Genesis test drove the 2015 Genesis 5.0 Amazing and sat inside the Genesis G90 the successor of the Equus very awesome as well. Genesis miles ahead of other manufacturers for thousands less in features of what the Germans are offering 100,000 powertrain warranty shows how these vehicles are built like tanks to last .
Reliable performance sedan
nice comfortable performance sedan. great acceleration with the 4.6 L. need to be careful with liquids around console as there are 6 buttons around a toggle knob. not the best design due to the cup holders located right behind the buttons.
Most Fun Car I have owned
What is not to love about a large rear wheel drive luxury (near luxury) sedan. The car has lots of room. Took it on a road trip with two females that don't pack light (I debated taking my pickup truck) and the trunk swallowed all of the luggage. I am not a small man by any means and I appreciate the comfort that I am afforded. Plenty of leg room and supportive seat. The engine packs plenty of punch and it is only the V6. Go for the v8 if you want but I am happy with the V6. The few drawbacks are not being able to upgrade the stereo if you have the navigation and not being able to connect my phone to play music through the bluetooth or usb ( I have an Android). There is a minor problem with the seat heater and cooler on the drivers side but otherwise for a 7 year old car it is fantastic. I would gladly get another.
Best car I have ever owned
I have put 150,000 miles on my Genesis and it runs and drives like new. It has never failed me. My CD player broke and was quickly replaced under warranty. That is the only repair I have had in 7 years and 150,000 miles. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
yes
wanted a luxury kind of ride,,,,the best bang for the buck in the market,,,,,,better warranty than most others too,,read how the genesis is made,,in the korean factory by people who have been there at least 19 years,,,wow
Value Can Be Luxurious
After driving a Volvo 850 Turbo and an Acura for years, I purchased a 2010 Genesis 4.6 V8 as a three year old used car. The car was an exceptional value with world class luxury amenities. I was skeptical about Hyundai being able to pull off a genuine luxury automobile. After two months of ownership I have found the V8 Genesis deceptively fast; great handling; unusually efficient (good gas mileage); very quiet even at high speed, endowed with a high quality sound system; very ergonomic (good cockpit layout); very comfortable; technologically rich and dependable; and last but not least, fun to drive. Most importantly the back seat has plenty of leg room and the trunk is very adequate. This is a great commuter car as well as a great road cruiser for those long highway trips. However, there are a few drawbacks. Most notables are the passenger seat doesn't have the same features as the driver's; there should be a DVD video system to keep rear seat riders occupied; and the ride can be a little jittery on slightly rough or minimally maintained roads. In sum, if I had the opportunity to buy this car again, I would. Hyundai has proved to me that value can be luxurious!
Genesis 4.6 Best Value in Luxury Sedan Market
I have owned 5 and 7 series BMWs, Lexus LS and Mercedes E Class vehicles. The Genesis is by far the best value on the market. If you mated a V8 5 series with a Lexus LS your offspring would be a Genesis 4.6. It has the luxurious ride and smoothness of a LS and the power of a 5 series. The fit and finish is world class. The navigation system is the best I have ever used. The stereo rocks. The integrated phone feature is well designed and easy to operate. The automotive press and some in the auto industry refuse to acknowledge the stature of this car however listen to the people who own them and they will set you straight. The best thing is the Genesis can be purchased for many thousands below comparable cars.
