Best Car I've owned
I love the car, smooth acceleration, heated seats, auto dimming mirrors, smooth ride. Honestly I'm not too difficult to please. I came from a Toyota Camry so reliability is very important to me. Thus far no issues, I'm averaging 25mpg in town and 30-35 on the highway.
Best Car I've ever owned
This car is an Excellent value for the Price. It's very comfortable and has excellent power and acceleration to get you through traffic. It has all the luxury features you'd expect in much more expensive luxury cars.
Lacked key options.
Lacked memory seats, 6 disc changer, ventilated seats. wood steering wheel, 90,000 mile service and two tires were worn below the wear lines.
Most comfortable and performing car I have owned
I would never sell it if I did not need too. It is a lot more car for the money than any BMW or M-B. Has more rear head room than any of them.
Best bang for your bucks
I?ve had over 15 vehicles and my favorite is the genesis sedan. I had a 2010 genesis, and now 2013 genesis. It?s a beautiful car for the money and hangs with other big luxury cars that cost twice as much.
Did not buy this car
Good looking but over priced. I wanted memory seats, and navigation. Ventilated seats. No manual was in the car so I could not read up on the options or the maintenance intervals.
A fine Automobile
The Genesis is not a car, she is a fine automobile. She has class, elegance, power, and a smooth ride. I thank God for this blessing. This vehicle is well built and fun to drive. I am better at what I do because my Genesis gets me there safely.
Best Quality For the Money
Owned this car 8 months ..had only 12000 miles when I bought it. Find a dealer that you can trust on service and costing. Car is fantastic in every way...I am sure the depreciation is tough but these cars are for the long haul. Bells and whistles and gadgets need better explanation and help from service people. Read your warranty carefully not as good as you think on the surface..have bought and "negotiated" an extended warranty thru USAA. Any major/minor service on any of the gadgets, etc will be very costly...like aNY HIGH END CAR!! Be aware there is heat in the kitchen if you have to be there!
Value
The incredibly smooth ride and quiet interior allow you to truly enjoy the awesome Lexicon stereo (available in the Premium Package). 8 speed auto transmission and 325 HP from the 3.8 V6 CVVT engine allow for effortless merging and passing. The Genesis offers a lot of bang for the buck.
A Comfortable Sleeper
I have owned 5 Genesis sedans. Far and away, my favorite is the 5.0 R-Spec. I'm currently driving a 2013 with about 23,000 miles. The car is all-day comfortable, has a plethora of standard equipment (the 5.0 gets you the tech and premium packages, which are optional on lesser models), and performance that can keep up with any sedan not wearing "M" "RS" or "AMG" badges courtesy of a 429hp V8 engine. Reliability (from my 5 Genesis sedan experiences) is superb. Fuel economy is acceptable. Stop what you are doing now and find a low-mileage, CPO 5.0 R-Spec and take it for a test drive.
