2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe consumer reviews

This coupe was an excellent car..... never a minutes trouble.... well made... clean and reliable. Would recommend to anyone as a starter car or a second car.

This was used as my second car, for when I wanted to have some fun and generate some attention. It's been a great car, but I'm getting too old for it, lol.

The car I drove before the genesis was a 2007 mustang GT (manual). I must say that switching to the genesis is quite a pleasant upgrade. Although I miss the scream of the mustangs 4.6 V8, I have found that the genesis dilivers nearly equal performance with a lot more luxury. The genesis with its 3.8 V6 actually cranks out more horsepower than the 2007 era mustangs. It also delivers nearly the same amount of torque. What am I saying?... The genesis is super fun to drive! The six speed manual links up pretty smooth, the clutch is lighter, the brembo brakes stop you faster, the cabin has a very nice look to it. Nice and modern inside and out. The screen inside is touchscreen. Audio, Navigation and multiple other settings are controlled through the screen. Thankfully the AC and volume are controlled by dials (not on screen) which makes it easier to adjust while driving. I do wish the car had a reverse camera for backing. So this car can be one of two things to you. You can buy it and have a nice zippy luxurious ride as you commute and take trips... or if you are so inclined you can drive it like Ken Block in a rally car. It is RWD and has more than enough torque to kick loose and drive sideways. Traction and stability control is turned off by a long hold on the traction control button. Turn it off and you have an aggressive animal. Leave it on, you have a nice reasonable/zippy ride. I will say that the back seat will be very unpleasant for any passengers. I am 5’10 and my head touches the ceiling when seated in the back. But then again I didn’t buy a coupe to be practical. I bought it because it’s fun.

This car has lots of appeal and turns heads at every turn. It's a FaSt car and roomy for a coupe. I'll probably buy another one.

The car has eye appeal. It's not for larger bodied or feeble people because while I found it super comfy, it is low to the ground. It hugs curves, but being rear-wheel drive has poor traction in the snow. The snow factor in NY was why I finally decided to sell my baby :-(

This car meet all my needs!!! Interior was very clean! Exterior was in perfect condition! My son will enjoy his 1st car for his college commute!

Is very good car, runs beautiful , lights are LED which provides an extensive brightness on the road. Motor is incredible! Speed is awesome! And it?s economic.
