Love my current and will by another Santa Fe

I have had my Santa Fe since 2011 and I could not ask for a better vehicle! It has the best warranty of any car I know and gets great gas mileage for an SUV. Has never given me any problems and it already has 231,000 miles on it. I drive it for work out of state every week and the most I've ever spent on repair besides tires and oil changes is $400 over the last 5 years. I will miss it when it's time to retire it but I look forward to buying another Santa Fe with a third row option. I have recommend a Santa Fe to 2 friends and they have bought and love theirs!!!

Best Quality to Value Ratio

This car is very practical, having enough space to go on vacation, and being able to seat 5 people. Gas mileage is also very good for the price of the car.

A cheap SUV

I bought this car almost two years ago. It had about 80k miles on it at the time and according to the car fax had not had any other issues. I have since put about 25k miles on it. It was exactly what I wanted. An AWD SUV perfect for hauling family and friends. Unfortunately in the last several months I have had nothing but trouble with this car. First the car engine just stalled while I was at a light. When I took it into the dealership they couldn't find anything wrong with it and had never heard of this happening. Well a quick google search when I got home found that a number of people had experienced this problem and that Hyundai had just recalled a number of the Santa Fe's from 2012 through 2015 for wait for it "engine problems that can lead to a stall". I continued to use the car and then recently the accelerator has decided to stop working randomly while driving. It is as if the car will only stay in 1st gear. I took it into the dealership again and they again could not find anything wrong with the car. These issues along with the other problems that Hyundai's have been having will lead me to never buy a Hyundai again. Which is really sad because when I got this car I was ecstatic. It has a great amount of leg room and plenty of room for hauling stuff. It was great in driving on snow and ice in the Winter. So other than the unexplained motor issues that cause the car to randomly stop functioning it's a great car. Unfortunately, the motor is a fairly important part of a car and so I will need to move on.

Best all-around value SUV I ever owned.

It's everything you need. Quality mechanical aspect, I never needed any repairs, only routine service. Gas mileage was excellent. More than enough room for people, pets, and gear! Plus enough luxury extras to make you feel just a little bit spoiled. All at a great value!

good car value

Only had the car a week now but, it drives nice and seems solid. I think this is a good value for the money. Can only rate reliability average for now, since I have only had it a week.

Super sturdy SUV

I bought a second hand Hyundai Santa Fe about 3 years ago from a very dear friend of mine. It had about 15 thousand kilometers and I thought it was a good deal to purchase it from a known and reliable source. Its been 3 years since then and Im simply loving the SUV experience. The car is still super smooth and has never disappointed me any where. I would strongly recommend the car to SUV lovers. Those who cannot afford it, even going on for a second hand deal is not a bad idea.

100 mi on 1/4 tank

U can set the cruise to 74 n still b on eco. it's the wife's car bought new 2010. we're orig frm philly reloc to nc so its about a 1000 miles round trip. well lit dashboard, has telescopic wheel with plenty compartments. I had a 85 excel years ago and it ran well too. maint is inexpensive n has 17 in tires and a good suspension as well. I drive pretty fast and have found this suv maneuvers well in tfc with some body roll. most people cant believe this little suv is so fast at hi speeds 90+ and handles well u wont be disappointed. enjoy!
