I’ve had a rim explode from hitting a pot hole.

I’ve had a rim explode from hitting a pot hole. I live in Ohio. So that’s no bueno. There is no eco mode and that’s between they claim 28mpg but I’ve barely been able to see 21. The turbo is tuned to high and it guzzles gas. When your injectors work correctly. The body is thinner metal than my hvac at home. Every and any hit will dent. EVERYTHING. WILL DENT. The worst part of this car is the dealerships. They scam you everywhere. I’ve been to a different service center every time I need them because of such horrible experiences. If I knew how badly I’d retreated I never would have thought a Hyundai. It’s a company wide thing. So I advise you get something else if you want to be treated like a human. Once they find a problem. They won’t have anything in stock and you could be underivable for months. This happened more than once. The shifting is dangerous. It’s a push button. If you press it in a hurry it won’t shift and you may hit the gas going the wrong direction. And this is not human error. Shifting shouldn’t be done by button. You can’t move the car without a seat belt and you can hit the drive button then hit the gas and it puts it in gear then uses the brakes to not let it go stressing important components. The upgraded sound is terrible. Processing of sound is terrible. Blue link works good. if you change your own oil, you always need more than 5 quarts so it’s actually decently expensive to change your own oil which sucks. The calligraphy rims are terrible cheaply made, and not worth it. I wish they were just normal rims. It’s fast, towing is good except if you need to put it in reverse, it thinks you’re about to crash so it keeps hitting the brakes every time you try and back a trailer. One of the worst parts is it does not come with a spare tire instead they give you this kit with a air pump and this fluid that you put in there to patch the hole except the problem is the pump will fail and then you’ll be left with the fluid and no spare tire so then you have to get your car towed…. Overall, I would stay far far away from this company and these cheap terribly made cars. If somebody lightly hits your car with their door it’s gonna dent it’s gonna dent in a way that can’t be pulled out. Good luck. I recommend this car if you drive very little 10,000 miles 12,000 miles a year but if you Uber or drive a lot like 20,000 miles a year stay far far away.

I've owned about 20 new vehicles and sold cars for 22

I've owned about 20 new vehicles and sold cars for 22 years, did a ton on research and ended up with the Caligraphy, it gives you so many features I wanted for a reasonable price. The engine is great and has plenty of power, great stereo, great highway cruiser as well. I have 32k miles, Hyundai has covered all my maintenance, and no warranty claims so far. Great Value! I have normally owned Toyota and Honda but wanted some features they either didn't have or I would have had to go to Lexus or Acura and pay way more for what I wanted.

Love my Santa Fe

This is my First time ever buying a Hyundai I sold a Acura RDX and purchased the Hyundai Santa Fe. I have no complaints. My Acura had everything in it and so do my Santa Fe. The difference is my Santa Fe is very comfortable and I really love it. As of now I have no complaints.

Don't buy it

My engine is not reliable, I got the engine light fixed twice and now have a transmission problem. It is a 2.5 NA with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The first time it got all error codes on and they said nothing happened. The second time is when the engine lights on and drives rough, dumping me in the middle of 405. The tow to the shop takes 2 weeks with no loaner car. The third transmission problem just happened yesterday night, with higher RPM and no power to the wheels, I pulled over to the highway exit and sent a tow truck to my dealer to fix it. Also, on a 2-degree temperature day, the horn with not working, takes them a week to fix it. I didn't even mention with unstable Android Auto and Apple Carplay, with poor interior quality. The only thing that I like about this car is the off-road ability. As a city SUV, it can bring me to some rough road conditions with no issues. But the engine and transmission need to be improved!!!

Decepcionada

Love my 2022 Santa Fe PHEV.

Very comfortable, very solid feeling, love my Santa Fe PHEV, around town get about 88 mp gallon, often much more. Some controls confusing, especially heat/AC; buttons and dials would be better than touch screen. Would like forward drive gear button to be in front with rear behind, a safety issue.

Very good with few issues.

We have had the 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy for one year and have been very satisfied for the most part. We learned early on that a front seat passenger can not use a seat pad and have the passenger seat air bag light go off. We met with a regional customer service advisor at the dealership and were told all new cars are that way. It’s unfortunate if you happen to be under 5’ and want to sit higher. Now that I know that, I am sorry not to have checked this before we purchased. Now that I do know I will consider this at my next purchase. Only three other issues, terrible gas mileage 22-24 mpg, occasional failure of the doors to unlock without pressing the key fob and street noise. As far as comfort is concerned, we have been happy with the ride and handling.

Great SUV

The Hyundai Santa Fe is one of the best SUVs on the market. It looks cool. It gets great gas mileage and it is very reliable. The Hyundai Santa Fe is loaded with tech and it is also loaded with a lot of features, and if you are looking to buy a new vehicle you should seriously consider the Hyundai brand
