Great value for the little money you spend

I have owned a 2007 sonata for almost a year now and I absolutly love it. It gets good milage and is alot of fun to drive. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking at a honda or toyota. It is neck and neck with both car companies.

Try it !!

It is a value buy, a great full-size car. better than the rivals models. You don't have to believe what is written here, just try it (test drive) and you judge it yourself.

Love it

I am 76 yrs old. All of the cars I have owned have been big easy riding cars. Since my wife and I do not travel as much any more, we decided to get a small car. After some research, I bought a new 2007 Hyundai Sonata in August. 4 cyl. We have 5,000 miles on it now. No problems at all. My wife just loves it. Highway driving is a breeze. Besides all that, I think it is a much better looking car than the Camry or Accord.

Its Ok

Its an ok car for the price but watch out for the ac condenser in front. Going 65 on the highway hitting a rock will put a hole in it and its not under warranty so you have to come out of pocket to pay for it or you wont have cold air just warm air blowing in your face other than that the car is ok for the price. Could do better wih the position of the radio it sits to high

Feels and looks cheap

The paint on my car has faded rather quickly even though it is garaged about half the time. Teenagers laugh at me and call me cheap. It stalls, shimmies when braking, and the a/c blows warm air.

Great gas mileage in I4

This vehicle is the smoothest car I have ever owned and it has a lot of power it has great interior and is a very good looking car i think it is a great family car i think that it deserves to be a full size car it may not look like one from the outside but when you feel on the inside it is huge it is the most roomiest car and I think that it is better than the honda accord because it is not as popular as popular as the accord.

Sonata GLS V6 Premium (limited in US)

I have had the car for two weeks and driven about 1500 km. I love it! The leather is top notch, and the fit and finish of the dash is good. It rides really smooth and has plenty of power. I work for Chrysler and I find the Hyundai a better value even considering my employee pricing. $30,000 for a fully loaded full size vehicle - can't beat it!

What a piece of JUNK!!

I hate my new Hyundai. What a huge mistake! This car get's awful fuel mileage. I'm only averaging 23mpg, mostly highway driving. The gas pedal is extremely over sensitive and incorrectly positioned for comfort, foot is always touching middle console. I'm also unable to rest my foot on the pedal because there is no swivel arm action, it's just a hunk of plastic connected to a computer part that has you peeling out with the slightest touch. Paint is bubbling and peeling off the flat black painted portions of the door Factory Radio works "Sometimes" Cheap, poorly designed Truck lift mechanism does not allow for quick and easy opening of the trunk. The 5sp Automatic Transmission is horrible, upon full acceleration the car has to sit and think about it for a couple of seconds before it actually takes off. The seat doesn't go back very far. I'm 5'8 and have the seat back as far as it goes and it still feels like I'm too close! Dealer told me it can tow up to 2000# - However the after-market tow hitches designed for the vehicle don't fit without major modifications of the dual exhaust system. so forget about towing your tent trailer with it. The only good thing I can say about this hunk of Korean/Alabaman Junk is it does handle well and has plenty of power when it finally decides to go.

The Best Kept Secret

Purchased vehicle about 4 months ago and totally loving it. I have owned both a Honda Accord and Toyota Camry and if people really drove this vehicle, they would find out they've been missing out on a great thing. Never bought a Hyundai before because of poor body styles. However, the new designed Sonata is sleek and sporty. I have the SE V6 and it produces excellent power. The ride is so smooth, it feels like you're driving a luxury Lexus. I really don't care about the resale value. The reputation of Hyundai will improve when more people get rid of the stereotype of the automaker of the past. Best of all?? Unlike a Honda or Toyota, Hyundai's don't get broken into or stolen. I know first hand about this statistic being a Police Officer. I have never handled or heard about any Hyundai's being broken into or stolen. The only negative would be the limited choice of interior color. The interior gray color may be a little too light for me.

excellant car for the money

I bought this car new in august 2005 and since covered 53000kms in extreme hot climate of the gulf region. Not one problem to mention or dislike so far and still running like new. Very quiet at high speeds and i personally drove upto 200km/hr. Very impressed. The excess money that I saved by not buying a camry or accord is wisely invested elsewhere (fixed deposit and mutual funds) for the next four years, so I do not care about resale. the local dealer is also very good and friendly. My wife wants a SUV and my next car is a TUSCAN. thank you Hyundai.
