Love it! Except the transmission...
This car has been great so far and I really love it! Handles nicely and very comfortable and sporty. The only things I don't like are the head room could be better and the transmission in lower gears is jumpy. I have the 4 cyl. motor with the 9 speed transmission. Very sluggish taking off and is jumpy in 1st and second gears. This can get quite annoying! Other than that, I think it's great. :-)

Great value for the price
The Cherokee provides reliability, space, and style at a reasonable price. With 4x4 and a number of creature comforts, it?s an excellent family vehicle.

The vehicle I really want to buy.
This jeep is great! I love the interior and exterior design. This vehicle has all of my needs including four wheel drive and ground clearance height. Not bad on gas mileage either.

Pretty sweet Jeep
I love everything about it other than the 9 speed transmission. It seemed to be very sluggish as the low gears are very short. This one had a 3.2 V-6 and still seemed soft off the line. Transmission also seemed to be "confused" as to what gear it wanted to be in. If your cool with that, its a great truck.

BEST SUV BY FAR
My 2nd Jeep Cherokee, 1st one was a 2001 which I drove for 14 years and it never failed me. This 2016 is even better---drives and handles better than any other vehicle I have ever driven. Has a 3.2 litre V 6 which has more power than imaginal, like sitting in a cockpit of a airplane, very comfortable and a absolute pleasure to drive. Oh and most import is, no road noise and its difficult to hear the engine running especially when you come and stop at a red light---5 cylinders shut down so only one is working---economy is fantastic ---yeah you can buy a 4 cyl model, but don't sacrifice a few bucks by doing this, you will be sorry. I test drove other SUV's and there was no comparison to this Jeep, love it and would buy another one. Problem with these Jeep's is they seem to last forever. That's a good thing.

Lots of Tech and Ample Power from Optional 3.2 V6
The 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is an eye catcher with its bold exterior styling and refined interior. It has all the tech you need such as a user friendly UConnect infotainment system, XM, aux, heated seats and steering wheel, dual climate control, remote start, and a gauge display that is easy and pleasing to look at it. The ZF 9-speed automatic transmission in the car, however, is one of its downfalls. The transmission seems to shift constantly while accelerating and even driving through town can be annoying because as soon as you barely push more on the accelerator, it shifts down without really offering as much power as you would hope. The transmission will rev the engine higher than you want (4,000-5,000 rpms) and that can be concerning to someone who wants to be easy on the engine of their car. The 0-60 time isn't awful at 6.8 sec, but could be better. The suspension absorbs bumps and whops exceptionally well and has a stiff tight feeling to it. I would recommend this car if you want a sporty off-road machine that doesn't offer a lot of cargo room, but has all of today's tech at your fingertips.

Great Car, Fair Price
Love the car. Looks sleek. I bought the all black model, black on black lettering and black wheels. The new nine speed transmissions in the vehicle are problematic. Dealership was able to fix the issue....they had the car for a week. Other than that it has been great. Very comfortable. Large cargo area.
