No faith in reliability
We had bought a 2018 Cherokee Latitude for our daughter and she has loved that vehicle. When issues arose on my wife’s previous vehicle, I looked at the ‘19 Limited. Initially we loved the vehicle, but after the first 100 miles, the radio blanked out and it shifted into ‘limp mode’. Fortunately she was only 1 mile from the dealership and was able to make it there. After 16 days the vehicle was finally diagnosed with a faulty radio and that was replaced and the car seemed to be running fine. During a drive to the coast (240 miles) the vehicle stalled at a stop light and numerous fault lights as well as the check engine light illuminated. It went into limp mode again and she made it to an auto parts store and had them check the codes. It showed a System High Voltage code. The next day I took it to a dealer at the beach and they determined the battery cables were loose and tightened them and all the codes and faults reset and disappeared. A 15 mile drive back and once again all seemed fine. After 45 minutes my wife took the car to go shopping and in less than a mile the transmission shifted to limp mode ONCE AGAIN and the ACC/FCW not available message popped up along with ESC and back up sensor faults. The car was subsequently TOWED back to the beach Jeep dealership for further troubleshooting and hopefully solving the problem. Right now, I have lost confidence in FCA and Jeep and it’s very doubtful I’ll even own a FCA product again.

Loved it for the first month...
I got my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus at the end of Jan 2019, they told me it would be the best value and when I test drove it, I fell in love. Here I am now 4000 miles on the engine, and it's been at the dealer for a week, it stalled, my dash blacked out and battery/start stop error popped on. Even had start/stop shut off. Now after a week of waiting they replaced the alternator thinking that would resolve it. 5 miles after leaving the dealership I get the same error, no stalling, but now the steering wheeling wont move... so safe with my 9 year old in my back seat. I wish I would have kept my Patriot. I loved that car, no problems.

What I expected... competent daily driver
The SUV is what I expected. I use it for a daily driver and it is comfortable. I got the V6, which is fine for cruising, but the tranny is as disappointing as most review state it is. The car feels solid and safe.

Great so far.
This Jeep has a lot of newer gadgets compared to my old Grand Jee Cherokee. It's great on gas, I like the dash features, emission feature as well. My sales rep: Harold went over all the features that I had .

It is at dealership longer than we have owned it just sitting in service area the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing they aren’t about customer service

Love it
I love the Jeep Trailhawk. This Jeep has all the ruggedness for a Jeep, but bells and whistles for everyday use. The only design flaw is the screen is angled a bit too much making the driver have to reach.

Horrible 9 speed transmission!
Oh where do I start. I got my Jeep last May and it's been one issue after the next starting with the 9 speed transmission. All issues started at 500 miles. I had 2 quick learns done for the jerky transmission, that didnt work then they put in a new valve body that helped some until now I'm only at 11k have had a TCM and PCM update and trans is still hesitant. Have had the radio replaced which is unfortunately extremely common issue in Jeeps now days. New battery at 9k and constant issues with my tires. Each time I get a tire rotation my tires need to be balanced and have to get my alignment done. Hate me Jeep and cant wait to get rid of it. I never take it anywhere only to work and back.
