STAY AWAY

These people showed me a Jeep .I sat in it started it and turned the heat on it would not go off. Showed me anything told me it was the car fax.It was clear the car was in an accident . Most of the cars looked like they where in a junk yard bought back to life. Please save yourself the trip.

run away

I bought a 2005 silver jeep grand Cherokee laredo brand new in January 2006 this being my third jeep i thought it would be reliable like my 1989 jeep cherokee and my 2000 jeep Cherokee. the 2005 had problems since the start. it stalls in traffic and and the alarm goes off if you use valet key the air conditioner had to be completely replaced in 2008. i probably went thorough 10 sets of brakes. i have to change the battery a least once year. the most recent problem i have right now it overheats in traffic also. this jeep has been 76,000 miles of problem.

Great car but not very smooth

This car is fun and looks great but even with new rotors car shakes at above 65. Sweet looking and I like the interior and love the phone option. Stereo good but rear speakers placed in position where they get muffled. Stunning looks though. I got the Hemi and even though mpg suffers I found other jeep engines too slow for me.

Buyers Remorse

Three major fixes within 80000 miles. There is a reason the salesman tell you they wouldn't purchase this without buying the extended warranty. I will never buy another jeep in my life. Stupid on my part!

death of a jeep nut

My wife and I have been purchasing Jeeps since 1982. all have been great vehicles. Until we purchased a new 2005 grand cherokee, at 600 miles it broke down for the first time. electronic modules have gone out, soleniod for m.d.s. system shorted out while on a road trip, they are bad about breaking valve springs in the hemi engine, starter motor went out and we only have 67,700 miles on it. also don't make the mistake like us, we purchased a Chrysler Extended service plan. not worth the paper it is written on.

the jeep is a money pit and they do not even try t

I purchased my jeep from a jeep dealership and viewed the carfax. It was jeep certified pre-owned and had 48k miles. Since then, I am now at 110k miles and I have had to completely replace the following items. fuel pump fuel injector all 6 coils over 6 new spark plugs the starter a full transmission While I understand that all cars need some maintenance every now and again, there is no reason for having to do this much to a 2005 jeep that has never been in an accident and only has 110k miles on it; especially the transmission. This car is always driven on the interstate so it is not like I am off roading all day and putting strain on it. I will never purchase another jeep nor recommend them as this is a complete money pit that shows that they are actively making cars to fail as soon as you hit 100k miles so that you have to go purchase a new one.

BEST CAR EVER

i bought my car used, at 114,000 miles. IT HAS BEEN THE BEST EVER! It's now up to 145,000 and stilll going strong. I bought mine for 9,000. But anyone can find one cheaper! I would SO reccomend getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Even used ones are fantastic!

Great Performance, electronic nightmare

Bought new as a program car in 2005 with 5,000 miles and then put 85,000 miles on the Jeep with a Hemi and fully loaded with every option that can be put on a the Jeep. Engine, transmission, SUV oerfirnabce, general driving, off road ability, mechanical ability and reliability have been best of any vehcile I have owned. Vehicle was an Electronic nightmare for the entire engine wiring harness being replaced within the first 6 months to over 9 different control modules being upgraded, rebooted or replaced over the 6 years I owned the vehicle. 3 ignitiion switches replaced, flashing and unoperative driver dash board every time it got cold and wet in Colorado, Radio / Navigation system quit & control module replaced, remote door entry quit & control module replaced, power drain killing batter overnight -control module replaced, low range 4x4 would not stay engaged in bad situations for it to quit -control module replaced, power seats & heater -control module replaced, etc. Did not trust it to keep anymore after 4x4 low failed in offroad Colorado Mtn pass and traded it off for a non-Jeep. Great vehicle except for electronic control modules that are not inexpensis to replace.
