Fun SUV to drive

I've owned many other SUV's over the years from BMW,to Acura MDX to Merceded ML and must say this vehicle is the most fun to drive... and if you like an SUV that moves.... then this is the one for... Handles like a sports car... only convern is if you are looking for gas mileage the SRT8 Grand Cerokee is not the one

JGC Overland Summit

I bought the Overland Summit and I can't say enough of how great this SUV performs. It does practically everything, its smooth, comfortable, has plenty of power, and is a vehicle that I can truly say I will enjoy for years to come. Currently I have 16500 miles on her. She is excellent and I commend Chrysler for redesigning this beaut. Thank You.

Started out great, not so much now

I loved my 2012 Laredo X 4x4 when I first purchased it. But now that it has 8k miles on it the suspension rattles and thumps constantly. There is a humming vibration when accelerating up hills, and my 4x4 systems stopped functioning and had to be towed off the beach with my family in it. All these problems are well documented on the Jeep forums around the internet. There are no fixes for any of these problems either, I still can't take my 4x4 Jeep on the beach (going on over 4 months now since it broke) because it is not capable and Jeep has not released an update.

Been Great!

Got about 13K miles on my Laredo 2X now. Did a lot of research, looked at other brands, but decided on the Jeep - wanted to stay away from front wheel drives. Love the Mercedes M Class suspension, smooth and quiet, good styling and functional. Love the oil filter on top of the engine (V6) as I change my oil. Bluetooth works great. Overall it has been trouble free and gets the same gas mileage as my Chevy S10 did but twice the performance and ride. Excellent highway traveler and good ground clearance.

Jeep Cherokee Problems

I wonder why people write a review so quickly, they haven't even driven the car for more than a month or so and they rate it 5 stars. I however have driven it for a while and have had problems such as the Alarm not working (cost about 1K) to fix. Also the engine seems to be sluggish even after a tune up. But I do agree it looks great.

Best Built Vehicle Ever

Our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit with all options and available packages cost far less than most of the vehicles we tested with much less in the way of features but a good $25,000 or more than our beloved JGC. The new Jeep is leaps and bounds better in every way than the '11 Ford Explorer we traded in after over a year of trouble (transmission), a non-working MY-Ford system and compromises in the way of comfort, room and sloppy handling. After an adult lifetime of driving Ford products, this GC has made us instant Jeep fans. The Hemi V8 is smooth and fast. The leather is top grade and very attractive on the seats, dashboard, doors and other areas of trim. We get compliments everywhere we go and the color choices inside and out (especially on the Overland Summit we chose). Not a flaw, not a blemish or single complaint. Jeep has come a long way and the model we have is equally as capable off-road as on the highway. Gas mileage on the Florida Turnpike with the dual zone air conditioning on the coolest setting was near 30 MPG and our 4x4 has that fabulous Hemi V8. We test drove the even more powerful SRT-8 model with the incredible 6.4 liter Hemi-8, but we think the more luxurious trim level we selected is the best of all worlds. If younger and a bit more daring, we might have driven home an SRT model, but we are extremely pleased and have indeed recommended this Jeep to friends, neighbors, coworkers and family. Those that actually followed our car buying advice are as happy with their new '12 Jeeps as are with ares.

The best SUV offered

i have had this vehicle for 1 month so far, and am totally satisfied with the ride, gas mileage (comparitively speaking) quality of build, and comfort and conveniences offered on this vehicle. Prior to purchasing i researched this vehicle and went to the car show to physically look at the products being offered. at that point i had it narrowed down to 2 vehicles. I then test drove both before settling on the Grand Cherokee Laredo E. Am pleased to say, I like the Jeep better now than I would have ever imagined.
