2012 Grand Cherokee

I love the handling of the maneuverability of this vehicle. The interior is well set up. I am only 5' 3" and everything is well within my reach. The ride is smooth and very comfortable. The is also plenty of room to get my son in and out of his car seat.

Only in a Jeep!

I have owned everything from Fords, GMCs, Land Rovers, a Hummer and such, but Jeep's slogan is so true: "There in Only One Jeep" & my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit is the best vehicle I have ever driven. For MY12, the JGC does everything well. It has far exceeded my expectations all around, especially regarding quality, refinement and reliability. We take our 2012 Jeep GC when traveling the interstate, vacationing in the mountains and to-and-from work -- winter, spring, summer & fall, all thanks to a smooth ride, superior on-and-off-road comfort and best in class handling. The leather interior rivals my BMW 7-series (in storage wintertime) and the real wood trim adds warmth and class while also keeping the Jeep's reputation as being rugged -- something only Jeep seems to accomplish. Jeep is the class leader, IMO. The HEMI-V8 of my new Grand Cherokee is a blast and MPG has hit 32 on the highway. Amazing in every regard. The panorama roof is a must, a feature standard on the Limited, Overland & Overland Summit models. traditional sun & moon roofs also exist to broaden the SUV's appeal. Our neighbor just bought a MY12 JGC Limited with the Pentastar V6 and he raves about the same likes I do with my Jeep's V8. I would advise anyone looking for an AWD or 4WD vehicle to check each Grand Cherokee model, including those with the popular V6 and trim levels with V8 power. There are two V8s for '12 with the recent introduction of the SRT-8 edition with a 6.4 liter HEMI. Wow! Complaints? Not one! I am one happy camper.

WOW...What an Improvement!!

I owned a 2007 Grand Cherokee and just bought the 2012 Grand Cherokee (Laredo). What an improvement in ride, interior quality (you can tell the Italians are involed), MPG (consistently get 20+), ride quality, quiet engine, etc. The only issue I have is the V6 engine / transmission...it appears the transmission kicks down on small hills, etc., but nothing troublesome. Chrysler did an AWESOME job with the re-do of the GC and to boot...made it less money! Great Job!! (We also have a 2010 Wrangler and it has been trouble free, good MPG and goes like a mountain goat)>

2012 GC Summit

The car is beautiful, well appointed and constructed. I was nervous going from an Audi to a Chrysler, but rest assured they've "upped their game"! I am a bit disappointed with the gas mileage averaging around 16 mpg but I live in the mountains and that's to be expected. Don't know about reliability yet, I've only had it a month!

Great new car.

Love my new Jeep. The extras are awesome. The back up camera is very nice. Still not getting the 23mpg on the HWY but getting around 18 -19 in town.

One of the best cars I've ever owned

Bought a '12 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. Absolutely LOVE it! Got the 3.6 liter V-6, because I drive a lot and wanted better mileage. Powerful enough. Loaded up like a Mercedes, without the price. Drives and handles great. One of the quietest rides ever. Interior with saddle leather is, as they say, "award winning". Simply beautiful inside and out. Only flaw, as others have noted I the speedo and tach is hard to see when the steering wheel is in a comfortable position for me. Something I can live with, as other amenities overcome this one thing. Remarkable vehicle. Jeep/Chrysler hit a HOME RUN with this one.

Best ever

Car has great style, the V-6 has plenty of power, I would recommend the X package, the only upgrade you will need.

Great Do-All vehicle

I traded in a Mercedes C300 and lifted Chevy Silverado to get one vehicle that had the best of both, the Overland Summit Edition. I love the ride, turning radius, visibility, and assists such as blind spot warnings and auto headlights. This truly is the marriage of a 4X4 with a Mercedes. Great job Jeep on making a vehicle that goes anywhere, hauls whatever you want, and gives a great ride for extended roadtrips. By far the best purchase I have made. I am very satisfied.

Excellent SUV

Good styling, great pickup, overall good deal. Go Jeep Go... Nav screen a bit small, but backup camera and v8 are good additions this year.. Mid-Size SUV with plenty of pickup in the engine and just plain fun to drive, moves very well and agile...
