Love it
Was everything I was looking for in a SUV. Confident in knowing I will have it awhile. Would buy another in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend

Diesel has proven to be very reliable.
Very easy to drive. Diesel gets great mileage (over 30 highway) and has good power. Pretty comfortable on long drives. Tows a trailer with no problems. Has proven to be very reliable. Easy to work on.

Best Diesel 4X4 out there.
I like the power and the versatility of 4X4. The towing package works well for additional uses of the Jeep. The EGR valve needs to be cleaned every 2 years or less if the engine is not run hard.

I really enjoy the 2005 Jeep Liberty
This is actually my first Jeep. I had an 83 Eagle SX4 that I bought new and it was fantastic. This Jeep Liberty brings back those feelings. Recently purchased so I am new to the vehicle but I am impressed with the ride, the strong 3.7L (6 cyl) 210hp engine. The car is not a luxury car, and DaimlerChysler were up front saying that it was a Sport Utility and that it would be different from a normal street car. So you needed to go into this vehicle with some previous knowledge. So far, so good. The engine is strong, the part time 4wD works beautifully, the seating is firm but comfortable and the driver sits high giving a very good view of the road. The interior is what I would expect from a utility vehicle. With BASIC design and controls. I'd prefer crank windows but it came with the electrics. Basic heater/cooling controls and fan control, all within easy reach. The Glove Box is a reasonable size. The Previous owner bought pretty much minimal as far as the stereo goes, but it works. I use the Jeep Liberty to transport Greyhounds so being able to fold the rear seats down flat makes this very easy. I really like the exterior design, looks smooth and futuristic, for a utility vehicle. The body is unibody, no frame but it is remarkably strong , firm, stable. You feel confident and safe when riding in this vehicle. This Jeep Liberty replaced my older vehicle that was falling apart, its accumulated 187,000 miles just wore her out. I believe I made a very good choice with the Jeep Liberty. We will see as I have more time with it.

Great for Midwestern Winters
I owned a blue 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited for one year and sold it. As soon as I sold it I started looking for another vehicle. Somehow I happened upon a Brown 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport with a few more miles but better overall condition. Needless to say I bought it, which that's saying something to like a truck enough to buy the same model twice. The Sport has less bells and whistles than the Limited, no Full time 4WD, no on-board computer, no sunroof or heated leather seats. But I can do without all that because Part Time 4x4 works just fine, you just don't turn as tight and have to remember to turn it off on dry pavement. All of the other stuff was just "extra". I have put this Jeep through it's paces and can say it's a workhorse. I've gone through a foot of snow, climbed a snowy steep hill, and gone through my fair share of bumps. The 4x4 and articulation on the suspension work fantastic for my needs. This an awesome SUV and you won't be disappointed when you buy one. (Given it's in good used condition) Mechanically these things are very forgiving. Honestly because of this Jeep all I will ever own now is a Jeep. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great car! Diesel CRD is very under rated.
I bought this car for my son's first car and I'd like another for myself! The CRD VM diesel makes a ton of torque and gets amazing fuel economy. Today I drive over 200 miles and averaged just a little over 35 MPG. The care is well equipped and comfortable to drive. I simply don't have anything negative to share.

Great SUV for the money!
t is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology!

very good truck, no major issues with it.
This Jeep was bought 3 years ago when my Chevy bit the dust, I have had normal repairs done on it like brakes, tires, and a water pump. This has got me through the winter snow with out a problem. I am very happy with it so far.
