Most reliable car I have owned-I drove it 14 years

I cant say anything bad about the 2005 Liberty. For 14 years it served me well and needed only routine maintenance. The car never let me down and endured no unexpected catastrophic breakdowns until the end. At 160,000 miles, the transmission went out and I could attribute that to my own neglect as I never changed the fluid. With that exception, EVERYTHING else worked: no features broken. The engine was still strong and burned no oil. Had I been willing to pay for a new/rebuilt transmission, the car would have served me for many more years.

Great first car for my college bound daughter

The price is reasonable and it is a good first car for my teenage daughter. Nice styling for her, and I like that it?s an SUV because I feel it?s safer.

Most reliable car I ever owned

This jeep is great and it got me through thick and thin. I Wish they still made the Liberty so I could have bought a new one.

Well I fell in love with the jeep.

It drives nice and seems to handle well. Looking forward to driving it every day. Can't wait to pick it up Friday. I always wanted a jeep. Now I have one.

CRD is the way to go!

After an extended search, I found a local one owner, extremely well-cared for loaded CRD limited and I am tickled pink with it. Still need to get the GDE re-flash, but the CRD purrs along getting 20-21 mpg in town. Haven't yet towed with it either, but I'm certain it will do great. Bought it for use as a toad, but find myself driving it more and more rather than the Escalade.

Love My Liberty

I went from a larger SUV to this Liberty. While I love it, the interior design is somewhat annoying. The window controls and cup holders are on the center console, which I understand is standard for Jeep due to removable doors, but for small/shorter people, it's difficult to maneuver without looking down. The design may be nice for people who don't have to sit closely to the dash (longer legs) but not shorter people. Have also noticed there's not much headroom in the front seat for my taller friends (5'11" +).

Good value for the money.

This car got me from point A to point B consistently. I genuinely liked all 5 years with my jeep liberty a lot and it rarely ever failed me. Having a trail rated 4 wheel drive car was also a life saver in the snowy conditions of Colorado. If you are considering buying this car, I would personally always advocate for you to pull the trigger! I love my 2005 Jeep Liberty with awesomeness and minor flaws.
