2016 Jeep Renegade consumer reviews

I love driving this jeep. Great gas mileage even for a jeep and very reliable. Driving to work in traffic isn't a hassle it has great acceleration and braking.

I have the latitude, heated everything, which is nice for MI and some of the other northern states. my wife loves the heated seats and steering wheel. But, when traveling long distance or you just want to take a nap cause your lazy, the seats dont fold all the way down. The headrest is also at a weird angle thats not comfortable. the back seat is a nice size and the seats fold down, a little. good amount of room pass the seats, enough for a 10hp generator. the 2.4 engine is OK, but sucks in the mountains. tends to lug a lot so i have to manually shift down to improve acceleration. gets about 400 miles a tank. A lot of noise from the detachable roof. good sound system. easy to change the oil yourself.

The Jeep Renegade is very comfortable to drive or ride in. I would recommend this vehicle to any family.

Within the first month of owning the 2016 jeep renegade limited, the engine had an issue. I took it in and they took their sweet time at sam leman dodge in peoria. Finay got it back barely 2 months later i had an AC issue, outside temp was 82 and the AC was blowing 79 degrees "gas" air at me. It was hissing and grinding. Took it in to Jeep and they told me "its working normal, this is how jeep has it, we are ECO friendly ". Well u can go ahead and keep your "eco friendly" jeep because nobody wants a car that has no AC in the summer are u kidding me? And then comes to find out the compressor was having issues and the thermostat,, barely 11 months of driving on an "eco" friendly jeep. Everything went to sh** real quick. I decided im never going jeep again. Go Honda!

I had driven 2 Renegades previously from Enterprise and fell in love. Therefore when my Jeep became available I had to jump. I have had Jeeps in the past; but the Renegade is by far my favorite. I am short legged and the steering column will adjust perfectly for me. The stick shift is a plus. It's the perfect car for my dog and myself. Love love love my Renegade

Smooth driving, easy to handle and fun! Great gas mileage! 4 adults could easily travel in this car and the controls are close easy to navigate while driving.

I love our new Jeep Renegade. The performance, the upgraded package, and most of the interior passed my inspection with flying colors. The only thing that could have made it even better was comfort. The seats are still the typical firm Jeep seat and not exactly the most comfortable for long rides. And, there's no cup holders for passengers riding in the back seat, only bottle holders in the doors. But overall, I'm pleased.

When looking at a Renagade the representative pumped down the manual driver seat height adjustment before I got into the vehicle and when I was getting out the driver seat popped up and pushed me out of the car causing me a major injury. The seat evidently did not latch.... she should have been sitting in it before she manually adjusted the seat to be sure it latched.

Love my jeep. I wouldn't won't anything else ever. So very happy that I made the decision to purchase this vehicle I'll never look back.

My wife loves her new new Renegade Trailhawk. Still getting use to all the gadgets and technology, but the ergonomics and style suit her fine.
