Rusty Frame and Electrical Problems

1. Jeep Rubicon JL electrical problems multiple times while driving the electrical system has gone crazy. The system warns you that there are electrical problems and to pull over to a safe area. While driving the power train loses power and no power to the wheels, the swaybars disengaged, and the steering was difficult. This has happened 3 times. 2. The Jeep frame welds are horrible with pin holes, poor penetration, rust, and no paint on the frame. There are multiple reports of this issue and the root cause as far as I can tell comes from the company that builds the frames having issues with the welding process. Due to them trying to weld galvanized materials and incorrectly setup welders. Honestly for a $50k vehicle its a xxx. I do not trust the my new Jeep JL Rubicon and I would stay away. Jeep has been horrible to deal with and does not want to help nor will they acknowledge the problem. The company that makes the frames I believe is Tower International. STAY AWAY or buy a more reliable older JK thats been maintained.

Currently the most capable SUV refined

Jeep wranglers have been the iconic American SUV since 1941. The history of Jeep brings with it a lot of expectations to overcome with every new model and the 2018 Wrangler JL delivers. Jeep has combined all of the capability of the previous model with added clearances and a completely redesigned interior with modern styling and creature comforts. With the hard top, Jeep has made this vehicle feel like a modern SUV. It is quiet, comfortable, and returns good gas mileage numbers for a box. I would highly recommend driving this SUV if you like something fun yet functional.

Great ride

Great car. I upgraded from a 2013 Moab to the 2018 JL rubicon and couldn?t be happier. The interior options are far superior to earlier models. Very happy with this one.

Wish There Was A Mid Size Version Wrangler

This car's original appeal was its rustic allure and campy style. It has evolved into a semi-luxury vehicle, which is alright for some. I would like to see Chrysler roll-out a mid-size Wrangler version with 4 doors and similar amenities for a mid-size price. I am an older fan of Wrangler, and with the kids gone and two large dogs, it is what I want. Please give me this at an affordable price and mid-size range.

Comfortable ride, manufacturing design problem.

I spent a long time waiting for the new Jl. This is my third Wrangler. Comfort and performance are nice, enjoy the 19-20 mpg. Problem with rear fender and rocks from tires denting them.

It looks nice.

I was not a fan of the safety ratings or the mileage. The gas and break pedal had to be pressed firmly to work. The hardtop is still very hard to take off.

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara JL

Couldn't be more happy with the new redesign/creation of the Wrangler JL! I've been wanting a Wrangler Unlimited for so long but didn't want to sacrifice luxury features such as keyless entry, automatic start and luxury interior. My Sahara JL has every Package they offer and its completely worth it to me. The back seat is more roomy then the JK's and is all around a better vehicle.

Indulging an old dream of having a Jeep.

I was impressed with all the tech that they have incorporated into the new Wrangler, but it's still very much a Jeep. I got the soft top and again was amazed at the lack of road noise there is. Not that it's super quite, but quite enough.
