Best car I've owned (of 16)

I bought the Forte 5 SX, the first year they came out. I specifically wanted a 5-door hatchback, of that appropriate size. The 2 dealers that I would deal with in town (1 other has a bad reputation with BBB) didn?t have that model in stock, because when they got 1 in, 1 test drive & it was sold. I called over a dozen times, & made an appointment for a test drive, only to be called back just before the appointment, that the car had sold. My car has the 2.4 L engine. When I read up on cars, I read glowing reports on the 2.4 Theta direct injection engine in the then new Optima. My engine is the older manifold injection one, but still has great power & torque; particularly for the car's size: just not quite as good fuel economy. The newer Fortes have made handy design improvements, but not enough overall, to convince me to part with mine!

2011 Kia Forte worse car I've ever own

I bought this car used from a dealer, and it 20,000 miles on it. At 35,000 miles, the battery died. well that was normal. at 55,000miles or so, the engine oil was leaking out just above belt tensioner not from the valve. I took it to dealer, it took two day for mechanic to figure out where was oil came from and to fix it. Thank god I didn't pay a dime for it because still under warranty. at 80,000 miles the Transmission Temp Sensor went out and I paid $635 to fix it. I was told that warranty expired. At 83,000miles I started to hear sound like metal grinding from engine some where. I took to shop, they couldn't fine out where the sound coming from and it can be heard only when the car is moving. This is my first and last Kia Forte. I can hear engine ticking especially when I start up in the morning. I can hear every moving parts while driving it. If you thinking buying Kia Forte, you might want to compare with Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

Best car I've ever owned

I bought this car used, and it is the best care I have ever owned. The car is stylish inside and out, and I haven't had a problem with it yet and I even drove it all the way from Ohio to New York and back!

Great on gass plenty of power for a four cylinder. Nice family vehicle as well for a small family of 4. Would recommend this Kia for something cheap and reliable.

Hidden gem

Honestly, never thought much about KIA's before I owned one. Since then, I will always consider them an option when looking for a new/used car. They will run forever like an old Honda and they're very easy to maintain. They also look very sporty too, and most have awesome sporty features on the inside, such as: metal gas/brake pedals, paddle shifters, accented stitching and seat design.

Super reliable and incredible value

It's a great car and incredible value, couldn't ask for more. I've even had people stop me and ask how much it cost thinking it was a really expensive car.

many cars in my 55 years. All I have done is tires, brakes tires, and oil changes. Best car ever. may have gotten lucky but my next car will be a KIA.
