Exactly what I wanted.

Very happy with this car. Exactly what I wanted, Standard features are all you need. I wish it was easier to get a manual transmission but the six speed is very nice.

Kia Believer now

I'd be honest and say I was one of those people that would never consider buying a Kia. I was in the market for a 5 door so I tested the new Mazda 3, honda fit, hyundai elantra touring but I have to say the Kia forte was by far the best value. when i first saw the car I thought iI was looking at an Audi 3. I think Kia has come a long way and is now true competition to the "big brands" like Honda and Toyota. I would say the Mazda 3 was my second choice but i would have payed more $$$ for the Mazda up front plus it had less MPG than the forte. I bought the SX version of the kia and honestly could not tell the difference between the Mazda and the Kia. compared to the Honda fit, I thought the forte had a lot more room and it also came with a lot more standard features like bluetooth, sunroof, shift paddles, trip computer, etc. in terms of reliability the Kia warranty is the best in the market so that gives me a piece of mind. Needless to say, I really like the new kia forte 5 door. if you are in the market for a great hatchback, I'd give the kia forte a try.

Kia Forte 5 Door EX

Main problem on car is rear suspension being a bit skittish, and brakes are little grabby. It is a very good value. Compare to Mazdaspeed5, VW Golf, or Ford Focus. Nice interior, great features, easy to drive, good cornering.

its a happy car

although a basic instrument of transportation, the kia forte koup is a happy car. it is economical, peppy, sometimes a bit too light, but always ready to take you to your destination without requiring much preparation. the kia forte koup offers standard equipment that are still options in most cars. i feel very confident i made the right choice by purchasing this particular brand and model for my particular and present situation. AAA+++

Kia Forte 5 Door EX hatch

For an inexpensive spacious runabout, the Forte Hatch EX has them beat. We reviewed and drove nine comparable vehicles and this was the best for the money. It is comfortable, economical (30 mpg around town), sufficiently peppy (although can be a bit noisy on hard acceleration) and handles very well. The 6 speed auto with electronic shifter provides some diversion to just pressing the accelerator in Drive. With just the two of us, we can load lots of stuff in it with no complaints. Sound system is good and bluetooth works well. Next month it will be ready for its first oil change. I suggest you consider the Forte Hatch among your search for a new small vehicle.

The price was right

I intended to buy used, something younger than 5 years. I found a small Chevy in great condition that drove very nicely - it was a 2008. It was looking very good and handled well. Then I drove the Kia Forte and all the technology under my hands was amazing. It handled extremely well, had ample head room and though it looks small, is roomy in the back and the trunk. I don't think I have ever driven a more comfortable car. It fit like a favorite pair of sneakers. The warranty is unbeatable. The beautiful metallic red paint job and cloth seats are icing on the cake.

Very satisfied

I looked at many similar cars both new and used. Chose the Kia Forte EX Hatchback over a new Ford Focus. The Forte is larger inside and feels more powerful and cost me almost $4000 less. Just filled up after the first tank of gas and got 32 mpg in mostly around town driving. I might get 550 - 600 per tank with all highway driving. Very happy so far.

Forte Rocks, will change the brand value for Kia..

I bought Kia Forte 2010 first. The car was very very nice and I bought that with detailed research and compared with Corolla, Civic and Sentra. The car got totaled and the insurance gave me more than what I paid... The value for the first time with a Kia car increased. Plus I had no scratches on my body in that accident. I decided that I will buy Kia all my life... Thus I have bought a Hatchback version this time and it is even better than the 2010 version.

Best Options For The Money

I bought the SX Hatchback for my retirement vehicle after three years of research. I wanted a car that could haul things, was good on gas, had a long warranty, and as many options as I could get. Love the bluetooth, XM, USB to charge my phone on trips, 2 upfront power outlets, rubber inserts, rear rubber mat, double compartment armrest, tilting sunroof, leather boot and steering wheel w controls and paddle shifters, metal pedals, red interior lighting and standard suede seating with red stitching. The 2.4 is sport tuned peppy with good handling and breaking and up to 37 mpg on the highway, 22 around town. The only thing that I have noticed that is less than stellar which I consider this car to be considering it would cost another $2-3,000 for something similar is that it can be a little rougher over pot holes in the NE than I might like. Best not to hit them anyway. Not recommended to tow either.
